Sweet and creamy, a fun adaptation of a concept.
Butterbeer is a Dua original blend from 2022 that was inspired by the beverage of the same name from the Harry Potter series. The opening captures the sweet and cream beverage aspect that so seemingly defines the experience, but the dry down is a little bit more subtle and less sweet. I enjoy both aspects but prefer the more limited opening, so while it’s not among my very favorite gourmands from the house, I really like the concept and enjoy reapplying it some times as I wear it in order to experience the opening over and over again. It’s quite enjoyable and, as it’s only available when the vault opens a few times a year, but its pricing is now the more modest $36 for 30ml, so that’s a great value.
