Well made but also extremely overpriced
Many thanks to Sören for the decant of Ultra Chateau Krigler 212 :-) I find the scent really beautiful and well-crafted in itself. However, when I look at the price of a bottle, I am a bit shocked. Especially since the longevity is only about 6 to 7 hours, which is not particularly pronounced. Additionally, the sillage is quite weak.
The top note starts chypre, aldehydic, green, and floral. Here, one can detect iris, violet, lily of the valley, rose water, and magnolia. In the heart note, there remains a sea of flowers with lilac, jasmine blossoms, and ylang-ylang. The base is rather understated with woody, balsamic, and vanillic hints from amber and sandalwood.
The scent is actually really well made. But the prices for it are just outrageous!
