Too short a pleasure
The opening is intriguing. It truly smells like spiced cookie dough. You can feel the atmosphere of gingerbread cookies popping into the oven to take their final shape. There's plenty of ginger, butter, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon and honey haven't been forgotten either. I also detect a fair amount of citrus. I can already picture Christmas, although I expected more spices; the buttery note with citrus and ginger is more prominent.
It's somewhat reminiscent of Cinnamon Rolls in terms of its atmosphere, although it's an exaggeration to say they're very similar. Gingerbread Dough doesn't have as much cinnamon, but they share weak performance characteristics. Unfortunately the longevity is so poor that despite a strong affinity for the composition itself, I won't be buying a full bottle. One or two hours and the fun is over. Of this new TK Christmas series - Gingerbread Dough is definitely the weakest in terms of performance.
