Hi everyone,
I'm venturing into the world of oud perfumes and could really use some guidance! I absolutely love fragrances, but every time I've tried to sample an oud scent, I've found it to be very masculine and too strong for my taste. It often feels quite overpowering.
However, I'm still incredibly keen to try a good oud perfume. I'm hoping to find something where oud is a prominent note, but it's not overwhelming or excessively strong. I want to experience what people love about oud, but in a more wearable way, especially if it leans less traditionally masculine.
I'm open to all recommendations, including Arab perfumes.
A couple of fragrances I've been considering, based on what I've read, are:
[ul]
[li]Armani Privé Rose d'Arabie[/li]
[li]Maison Francis Kurkdjian (MFK) Oud Silk Mood / Oud Satin Mood [/li]
[/ul]
I'm particularly curious to know if these fit what I'm looking for. Also, has anyone tried Swiss Arabian Sehr Al Sheila? How does it compare in terms of oud prominence and wearability?
Any suggestions for an "introductory" oud that still clearly showcases the note, but in a softer, perhaps more feminine or universally appealing way, would be amazing!
Thanks in advance for your help!
