Earthy / woody

Any suggestions for an earthy, woody fragrance? Bit of mouldy/moldy maybe. Kind of like Encre Noire Eau de Toilette but less sharp and "high in the nose" (don't know how to describe it else).

L'orpheline and "Bois d'Argent | Dior" give me that moldy/musty quality, but they are not super woody. Maybe something like Terroni? But that one is also quite smoky.

Smoke would associate with burning nature down while I’m looking for a nature vibe (but not fougere)

Sample "Hayat | XerJoff" and Opus XIII - Silver Oud . Both are quite woody/earthy but not biting like Encre Noire. Note that both have very challenging openings that you have to live through for about 20 to 30 minutes. After that, they are quite nice, although dry/not sweet.

Now that's a bold recommendation. 💪

Another one that's nice, much cheaper than the other two I recommended and doesn't have the barnyard opening is Special Amber Oud . It has fake oud whereas the other two have the real thing.

Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence would by my suggestion. This is a dank, smooth earthy scent.

Yes! I have both of them because I love earthy scents. Figment is soil in de forest in spring and Tellus is dry dust on the road in the summer
