Essential masculine sex appeal perfume
Imperial Wood is not super woody to me, which initially I was confused by
I found it extremely resinous, spicy and licorice forward.
I hate the taste of licorice/aniseed in cheap confectionary but my GOD does it smell good in perfume

The above mentioned syrup like notes are offset perfectly by the smooth and sensual rose, gentle spices like cardamom, tonka
And my two favourite notes in perfume; soft oud and saffron.
So I'm a lil biased towards Imperial Wood because it ticks every single box I have for a must buy

As you can probably surmise from that description, this stuff is seriously sexy.
I wouldn't wear it to work unless you're trying to get a promotion, or something a bit more steamy w your boss
Opening is slightly fem, but overall it leans slightly masculine - most definitely unisex.
Btw that's also the amount of sex you'll get if you wear this daily

Drydown is when the wood and oud comes in heavily, with a bit of incense from the frankincense. The leather is supple and expensive feeling, as is this fume in general

As with most Pana Dora perfumes, you're getting seriously strong projection.
I get about 14 hours, with a large sillage. 3 sprays absolute max on this big dawg

Also has the best bottle I’ve ever seen. Colouring is better than the other Pana Dora I’ve seen

Pana Dora is easily S tier niche, and so is Ibrahm Al-Zoubi
Every perfume I have tried from them is entirely unique and unlike anything I have smelled
(except Aqua by Dora but that doesn't count bc it's so much better than Tygar)
My pooky Pana Dora dropped yet another masterpiece.

Btw the Noir de Noir comparison isn't super accurate as they don't smell all that similar - but the vibe and feel is similar.

I will date you if you wear this slutty stuff

Stunning
Imperial Wood by Pana Dora is a captivating olfactory journey that seamlessly marries sophistication with warmth. The enchanting blend of rich, woody notes creates a timeless fragrance that lingers delicately on the skin. From the first spritz, it transports you to an imperial forest, where the essence of fine sandalwood and cedarwood unfolds. The fragrance evolves beautifully, revealing subtle hints of spice and amber, leaving a trail of elegance in its wake. The longevity is impressive, ensuring a day-long embrace of this exquisite scent. Imperial Wood is not just a perfume; it's a sensory masterpiece, making every moment unforgettable.

How could I possibly..
Dazzled by massive bottles with deer head, sweeping descriptions, promising notes, I was prepared for something big.
But when my sharing bottling arrived and I tried it, I was disillusioned.
Even later, when the brand was to be found locally, the compositions could not convince me so at all. Too well known. Too sweet. Too expensive.

Since then, a few months have gone into the country, I have found my filling again after rearranging and new perfume cabinet and wanted to try it again. Has something changed? No.

To me, this fragrance continues to be too sweet, I have no idea what the Wood has to look for in the name, the price actually shocks me and I am glad not to have a bottle.

But I would like to be a little more differentiated on Imperial Wood. Despite the fact that I see no wood there. Instead, the fragrance starts opulently with a lot of soft spices, warm notes of tobacco and resins that neither scratch nor smoke, a touch of flower and that's it. As the first glow fades, it becomes sweeter in the base and continues to be soft and spicy on top. Cinnamon, vanilla and tonka play with each other. Skillfully and yet I can not get away from the feeling of having smelled this mixture umpteen times and simply be repugnant to it. In addition, at the very bottom of the sweetness of the composition bumps a pungent synthetic note. And that then destroys everything for me.
The rest of the course is linear and without further surprises. That is also completely in order so. It does not need a change of direction to be well composed fragrance. But here I was disappointed.

As already mentioned: too sweet, too familiar, too expensive. Too bad.

Direction Ombre Nomade, the better option for me
Pana Dora is a great brand for me that I am currently checking out one by one via bottling. With Forever Love I have a fragrance from this brand in my collection and the fragrances I have already tested were also lovely. Starting with the bestsellers, there are probably a few more to come. I definitely want to write about this Imperial Wood, as it comes with an absolute recommendation from me. Unfortunately it is sold out in many stores, at least in stores that offer discounts from time to time. Since it is really good, this is understandable. For me, it's absolutely a fragrance that you want to smell over and over again on the back of your hand.

This Swedish brand already has charm with its elegant moose bottles. The founder of the brand, Ibrahim Al-Zoubi, has probably let his oriental charm play out here and conjured up a great oriental masterpiece. Otherwise, this brand has a great variety of styles. If you roughly like the Ombre Nomade direction, you've come to the right place. You can also see it in the range of similar fragrances: not a 1:1 dupe, but rather inspired by the style. Even though I like this LV, Ombre Nomade didn't really captivate me. But this one did. This Imperial Wood has a much more complex and, above all, more sensual effect on me, also due to its soft and sweet notes. This pyramid is full of interesting notes and in my opinion they harmonize very well.
Even if this is artistically very cool, it won't just attract compliments. This style is very special and for untrained mainstream noses it could be overwhelming, just like Ombre Nomade.

The first few minutes of the fragrance are indeed quite difficult and also seem a little overloaded. This quickly subsides and a great oriental develops with woody-spicy notes and floral sweetness. You get a very nice oud touch that doesn't come across as too "skanky". There is also a matching rose that gives the whole thing a great warmth and a great oriental saffron spice. Right from the start, nothing is overwhelming, as you might expect from a fragrance that goes in the direction of Ombre Nomade. As it progresses, beautiful sweet notes are added, making the whole thing very cozy. Tonka, vanilla, cocoa, warm cinnamon and a sensual cardamom note blend beautifully into the background as the oriental is (still) in the foreground. As the fragrance progresses, it naturally becomes softer and the oriental-spicy notes become gentler. The base is sweet and woody with a great oudy note and a stylish leather note that never becomes too dominant. Overall, this fragrance lives up to its name as there are lots of different woody notes. What I like most about this fragrance is this complete blend of confident spicy notes and these sensual warm notes.
Performance is perfect for me because it's not overdone so you can wear it on multiple occasions. It is definitely noticeable, but it doesn't steal your breath. Longevity should be 10 hours, possibly a little more.
Unisex only to a limited extent, as this would be something for very self-confident women. Fragrances like Ombre Nomade are also extremely rare on women. But of course it is not unwearable for women, as women can theoretically wear anything. With 91% male owners, however, it seems to go down much better with men.

All in all, a really great release that is worth testing. It's not in my collection, but I'm definitely not averse to it.

A perfect gift.
I chose this fragrance as a birthday gift for my best friend.

He was born in the winter and very masculine and cold in character.

I found this fragrance perfect, it literally smells like winter in the bottle, and warms the rooms in which it is with its beautiful woody scent!

The bottle is a masterpiece, just a beautiful sight this golden, large stag!

I also find the processing and the story of Swedish everyday life in the 17th century very interesting.

Opens rose-oud w/ fluffy rose & prominent sweetness, reminds me of Oud Satin. Transitions more woody & eventually leathery. Not special.

Nothing special, one dimensional with no depth. The performance is also quite average.
