One of the Best
Stricker by Pana Dora is a true statement - powerful, mysterious, and absolutely unique. From the very first spray, an intense, oriental woody composition unfolds, immediately capturing attention. The fragrance structure is complex, yet never overwhelming: Spicy notes meet dark leather, accompanied by a warm, slightly sweet base that lingers on the skin for a long time. An absolute favorite scent of mine.

Understanding Fragrances
Fragrances must be understood.

This is not a typical perfume from Pana Dora. This is a tribute to Herbert Stricker created by Pana Dora. It has a typical Ibrahim note that brings a slight oriental twist, but primarily it features Stricker, who is European. And that is exactly how the fragrance is. A light sweetness from saffron with fresh thyme, along with rose and oud, then comes the big difference.
The aldehydes make this fragrance wonderfully fresh, airy, and light, but not weak.
One could not have created a better fragrance for Herbert Stricker, elegant, focused, filling the room without shouting, with that certain special twist.

I believe a masterpiece has been created here that is not typical of Pana Dora.

Love at Second Sight
I tested Stricker for the first time last Saturday.

On the back of my hand. I found it quite okay and dismissed it for the time being.

Then yesterday my sample arrived, and I gave it another chance. So, 4 sprays and let's see what, and above all, if it’s worth anything...

... And indeed, here I am about 15 hours later and I am very impressed!
First of all, let me say the following:
Stricker doesn’t reinvent the wheel. But it doesn’t have to. The fragrance comes across as very classic and clean. In a way, I recognize similarities to Pikovaya Dama and Irisss. Somehow a bit of both, with a pinch of that well-known and spicy Pana Dora DNA. Especially in the later stages, when the musk and a slightly woody spiciness emerge.

In a way, it could also be a Stone label. But with a certain dose of "Sweden".
Fragrance Development:
Stricker starts with spicy saffron and thyme in the top note. However, this quickly becomes floral and creamy. Here, in my opinion, the rose and aldehydes really shine through. Nevertheless, the oriental aspect is also undeniable, especially with closer sniffing and probably due to the oud and saffron…

In the later stages, something spicy comes back, which will probably be the oud. In fact, it’s very spicy and woody, absolutely not animalic. The musk then gives it a nice dose of powderiness.

At some point, after about 8 hours, I think I recognize something towards thyme again, but I could be mistaken here.

Longevity / Sillage:
I applied the fragrance around 6:00 PM and I can still clearly perceive it at 4:00 AM. We are definitely talking about really strong performance in terms of both longevity and sillage!
Due to its DNA, it never becomes intrusive or overwhelming, even though it is constantly present. As far as my taste is concerned, it’s just right!
Conclusion:

Stricker is a clean, classic, and noble fragrance that comes across as floral, spicy, and powdery.
Anyone who likes fragrances like Pikovaya Dama or Irisss should definitely give it a try!

It’s the perfect fragrance for occasions where you want to be noticed but not to stand out too much. Its DNA feels very pleasant and has actually already earned me 3 compliments (which is quite rare).

In terms of quality, it feels very high-end and elegant to me. In fact, I think it truly deserves its name, as I can easily imagine the good Herbert Stricker with this fragrance.

Like Pikovaya Dama, I see Stricker as absolutely unisex.
The bottle and packaging are an absolute eye-catcher!

So, today it’s a short and factual review, but I need to continue enjoying the fragrance!
Thank you for reading!

the Oriental with a European twist
Stricker is above all one thing - stylish and elegant! It is not the typical Pana Dora scent and takes new paths here. The longevity is strong, the sillage is present but also very refined! All in all: Herbert Stricker!

The opening is spicy-fresh, saffron brings a warm, slightly metallic note, while thyme provides aromatic clarity. The heart note surprised me with its aldehydes - they give the fragrance an airy, almost ozonic freshness that somehow reminds one of freshly ironed shirts. Then the Bulgarian rose: my goodness, it appears so noble and elegant but also spicy-green, not a sweet rose mush. Very elegantly executed - great.

The base is deep and slightly creamy, the Assam oud brings dark woody notes into play and musk adds a skin-close warmth.

For me, Stricker is a total surprise and very well executed, it feels powerful yet remains subtle.

Herbert & Ibrahim at Top Level
Clean oud paired with spicy, herbal thyme, a fresh oriental rose, and a touch of saffron sweetness. For me, it's clearly a standout. Possibly the most elegant scent from the Pana Dora line. Is it already the best?

At the beginning, the fragrance starts relatively opulent with a fresh spiciness accompanied by rose and saffron. The oud becomes noticeable mainly in the course of the fragrance. However, it is not animalistic, rather clean and pleasantly woody, probably from the Ambroxan and musk. Aldehydes refresh the whole composition and create a wonderful blend.

In my opinion, a clear recommendation, super versatile and easy to wear. An everyday scent!

Aldehydes and rose oxide unfortunately remain synthetic here, somewhat sharp; moderately spicy, subtly oriental (saffron); way too much musk.

Modern, intense saffron-red, richly juicy rose with an aldehydic gleaming shine and herbal green around it, neither quiet nor subtle.

Aside from the sprayer, which is one of the best on the market, not much feels high-quality here. The bottle looks nice, but

Synthetic rose/saffron scent, with subtle oud. Not reinventing the wheel; too inconsistent and boring for me, H/S okay, P/L poor.

Nothing you wouldn't already know. Unfortunately, 0 innovation, could have saved that. Quality is top-notch, just as you expect from PD.
