The imposing ruler of the forest

Very classy high society leather wonderfully balanced. Filling, shimmering animal musk lingers in the air as if detached from the fragrance. Gentle resins of the wilderness like golden blood. Sweet, warm incense with fine sage leaf and a pinch of saffron threads. Lightly dosed oud of the friendly kind brings dry tobacco leaves warmed by the sun.

Almost all the fragrance notes I could smell and had their place to shine. Like many of the Pana Dora definitely pleasingly designed, though in this case you should like leather and rather deeper scents. In my opinion, the fragrance leans more towards the male clientele, but will certainly appeal to women who like this type of scent.

Not suitable as an everyday fragrance. More something for special occasions where you dress up and wear a suit (going to the opera, elegant restaurants, parties with a dress code, weddings, vernissages). But that's better for the price.

All in all, a very nice, high-quality, strong and elegant but not intrusive fragrance, with rather masculine aspects, which fits well with the theme you wanted to implement.

Whether the price is justified is probably up to you to decide in the end. The fragrance is definitely very high-quality and beautiful, but €110 less would have been fine in my opinion.

The stag gallops through the forest with burning hooves

I dare to write my first review here because I was really happy when the fragrance arrived and it is exactly what I imagined and wished for.

At the beginning, I am met by a burnt leather and a slightly creamy saffron that gets a little stronger with time. And after about 10 minutes, the ylang-ylang comes in and gives the whole thing another boost of spice.

The resins make it almost slightly sweet again, but it doesn't get out of hand and remains in the background, after which the woody notes and tobacco appear. The musk and oud round it off and make it even darker.
A dream of a fragrance for me personally. But definitely not for the masses, as the mixed mood in the statements shows.

He can challenge

Swedish Leather is a fragrance that can be quite challenging. Definitely not a blind buy! Smoky leather, dark, mystical and partly resinous.

The fragrance starts for me directly with this strong smoky leather note.
Furthermore, for whatever reason, I have associations with cucumber water. Imagine you open a jar of gherkins and the smell that you then perceive, which I also easily get here. The whole thing paired with the smoky leather.
The cucumber association fades for me after about 20-30 minutes.

After a while, I also get some saffron along with the smoky leather.
The resins definitely kick in in the middle section and you can almost say that it develops a very slight sweetness here.
Then the relatively rough, woody notes definitely come through, as well as the quite tart tobacco.

Here and there, I can generally understand the associations with a kind of ashtray.
Swedish Leather is a special fragrance. It knows how to be off-putting and that makes it somehow special.

Personally, I quite like it, but only after about 30-45 minutes and unfortunately that doesn't make it a candidate for me to buy.
The masses will definitely not like this fragrance, I'm actually quite sure of that.
The word niche fits the DNA perfectly here.

So, how do I start...
About the fragrance:
- It begins very pungently warm with a sweet finish of saffron in immediate combination with the heart notes, the most present of course being leather. It immediately has a kind of animalic quality (which only appears in the base note, according to the information provided) but immediately catches the nose and reminds me of Air Tiger.
-After the fragrance has settled down and the "chaos" of the exploding accords has calmed down, it radiates an incredibly warm, yet soft tobacco/leather combination after about 1 hour, which I have rarely smelled, actually very suitable for the masses and less niche than at the beginning.

About the H/S:
-The projection that this fragrance has tops all other Pana Dora fragrances, I own the Oud Republic and I would rate it almost twice as strong, goes extremely far and can definitely get on some people's nerves
-The longevity I actually have to say is slightly below the Oud Republic and would put it at about 12 hours (in comparison the Oud Republic lasts 3 days on clothes and 20 hours on the skin).

Conclusion:
Get the fragrance after you have really tested it 2-3 if you like tart, leathery, woody and a bit spicy (herbaceous though) where there is NOTHING sweet! Definitely good for layering fruity fragrances! But can definitely do something as a solo!
