Song Of Oud from the Haute Luxury Niche Perfumery House of Indian origin Ajmal based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a Unisex Oriental Floral Amber Musky Woody perfume. Song Of Oud was released in 2023.
Very Tasty Perfume! A mix of Baccarat Rouge with Oud For Greatness with an Arabic accent. Ajmal also has perfumes with oud in name only. A great alternative with quality and great cost benefit. Easy to please will certainly earn many compliments, and it still performs well. But not a passion for me.

Light fruity sweetness meets very pleasing oriental spice

I have had Song of Oud in my collection for quite some time now, and this fragrance has grown on me more and more with each wear.
It possesses these oriental traits but is very pleasing.
Moreover, you always feel like you smell truly high-quality.
Compliments have also come my way!

The scent has a lovely fruity sweetness that never becomes too sweet. The ginger and bergamot provide a certain "zest" and lightness.
Additionally, the fragrance has a very pleasant oriental spiciness and a hint of smokiness. The perfectly dosed spice becomes a bit more pronounced over time. Furthermore, the scent gains woody impressions.

You definitely have to mention the patchouli in Song of Oud.
It is present but finely balanced. It blends wonderfully with the other notes.

Song of Oud definitely has parallels to Oud for Greatness, but also to Parfums de Marly Haltane.
It almost feels like a super successful hybrid of these two fragrances.

Song of Oud is designed so pleasingly that it can really gain many fans and feels almost like an oriental aftershave to me.

Longevity and sillage are perfectly fine. The scent lasts on my skin between 6 and 8 hours, and the sillage is really pleasant. It is not too "loud" but also not too "quiet".

Quality: The owner and nose of Areej le Dore tested various perfumes from Ajmal, both from the "regular" and premium lines in the lab to make statements about the quality and purity of agarwood based on the proportion of agarospirol molecules. The result was that the agarwood used is 100% real or pure and has a high quality, both in affordable and premium products of the brand, even though the regular line consists of real but less high-quality agarwood essences.
The main business consists of selling the essences. The perfumes seem to be more of a passion, a giving back to society rather than a real business branch, as the margin is very low and the selling prices are heavily oriented towards the ingredients, with the profit flowing into the charity program called Ajmal foundation, which builds schools in developing countries.
