Great floral tropical scent with creamy notes
Here is my first review of a fragrance from the brand Berdoues. A French brand that has several cool lines and does so at a fair price. Many fragrances have a rough description in the title of what this scent is about. I think it’s cool when the theme is touched upon in the title, just like here: Fleur de Tiare & Ylang. Suitable for the currently high temperatures, this scent works really well in hot weather with its wonderful floral-creamy DNA. A fragrance that manages with few notes yet still impresses. Fresh scents don’t need many notes. I can also totally recommend this brand in terms of price, as there are many 50ml bottles available for under €20. This scent is definitely a great alternative to sunscreen scents like Soleil Blanc with its tropical twist. Of course, it is a bit toned down in longevity, but it’s already a great mood lifter for the in-between times.

This light sunscreen vibe is actually almost exclusively wearable in warmer months. This fragrance is classified as unisex, but due to the floral and creamy notes, it is likely to appeal more to women.

However, these 3 notes are indeed perceptible and already offer a great solid concept of creamy tropical flowers and beautifully maintained sandalwood. Tiare and Ylang-Ylang are among the most summery flowers with this wonderful creamy nuance. It is also very pleasant here with this great tropical note that lightly touches on the sunscreen direction. It has something very well-groomed and freshly applied about it, which is enhanced by the well-kept sandalwood. A pleasant sweetness is also present. You can’t expect much scent development here. What adds to it is this rather moderate performance, which doesn’t bother with this DNA and this price. For the in-between times, this fragrance is a great choice. Longevity should be around 5-6 hours, although the scent doesn’t have a huge sillage. But it convinces in a pleasant way.
In conclusion, I can say: You get what it says on the label. No unpleasant surprises and already this typical "transparent" summery type of fragrances. A white creamy scent that radiates cleanliness. A clear recommendation for this price.
