smelled very light and airy on me - despite my love for gourmands and the sweetness in scent, I adore the lightness and citrus on this. . . I enjoy the herbs and the simplicity. very good for late summer and incredible for mornings with a breeze : )

Bali? Well. Vacation? Definitely!

After my vacation in Bali this winter, this fragrance needed only its name to motivate me to purchase a sample. I briefly skimmed through the fragrance pyramid and thought to myself, "That sounds good!" So, I did it; a few days later, the Souk was in my mailbox, and the testing could begin.

Right after spraying, a beautiful lemon surrounds me, surprisingly natural. Fortunately, there is no "bathroom cleaner vibe" here, as I have experienced with other lemon fragrances in this price range.
This lovely citrus freshness lasts for a while and is then quite subdued by the vetiver, becoming noticeably less fruity, resulting in a harmonious, soft blend.

Accordingly, longevity and sillage are not outstanding. If you apply the fragrance in the morning, you already feel the need to reapply by lunchtime. At first, the scent shares its sparkling freshness with others and conveys that vacation feeling. However, this fades relatively quickly and becomes more intimate.
Conclusion:
Although I do not associate the scent with the beautiful tropical island despite its name, it rather transports me to the Mediterranean (also nice there ;D). However, you definitely get vacation vibes in a bottle here - and at a really decent price. An overall good package for a quick freshness kick, definitely a recommendation to give it a try.

Who like what...

... a Dutch spy who made her way from Bali through the Netherlands to France. She brings to the stage the seductive essence of the land where she was born. She enchants both ladies and gentlemen with her fragrances and learns everything she wants to know.

Upon application, a citrusy freshness greets the nose, lightly enveloped by benzoin, which brings forth a soft, light woody vanilla note. With the addition of vetiver, a smoky aroma emerges.

The longevity and sillage are quite good.

It is a well-wearable unisex perfume that can actually be worn at any time. However, for my nose, it works best in the evening when it is still pleasantly warm.

Anyone who enjoys citrusy, woody, and slightly smoky scents should take a look at this fragrance.
