Bali? Well. Vacation? For sure!
After my vacation in Bali this winter, this fragrance only needed its name to motivate me to buy a bottle. I briefly read through the fragrance pyramid and thought to myself: "That sounds good!". No sooner said than done, a few days later the Souk was in my letterbox and the testing could begin.
Immediately after spraying it on, I am surrounded by a lovely lemon scent, surprisingly natural. Fortunately, there is no "toilet stone vibe" as I have experienced with other fragrances with lemon in this price range.
This beautiful citrusy freshness remains for some time and is then muted by the vetiver and becomes significantly less fruity, resulting in a harmonious, soft blend.
As a result, the longevity and sillage are not outstanding. If you apply the fragrance in the morning, you will feel the need to spray it on again around midday. At the beginning, the fragrance definitely passes on its sparkling freshness to other people and makes you feel like you're on vacation. However, this also wears off relatively quickly and becomes more skin-deep.
Conclusion:
Despite its name, I don't associate the fragrance with the beautiful tropical island, it rather takes me to the Mediterranean (also nice there ;D), but you certainly get that vacation feeling in a bottle - and at a really decent price. Overall a good package for an entertaining freshness kick, definitely a recommendation to give it a try.
