Celtic knot
It took me some time to write something about Decade. The first try really scared me off. I think I've had at least 10 tries.
In between I left the scent on the left.
Now finally I decide that Decade is my fragrance.
Lucky too, because I already had this beautiful bottle in my closet. A round flat turquoise blue glass bottle with a tin disc on the front and back with a zinc cap. The tin discs are made by a traditional British tin company especially for Boadicea The Victorious. Engraved Celtic knot works decorate the plates. The symbolism of these knots is as complex as it is shrouded in legend.
At first Decade is very scratchy and negative. Probably this is the saffron in combination with the pineapple and the aldehydes.
Then I feel like I'm in Provence. The air in the fields, blown by a warm spring breeze, smells intensely of roses. A fruity, soft, almost lemony note, which can also be sniffed out, is at the same time somewhat surprising.
Suddenly all previous perceptions of Decade evaporate and are replaced by an exciting variety of fragrance combinations, led by bergamot and Bulgarian rose around a heart of Rose de Mai and Hedoine. A moment later a thin stream of white musk, amber and guaiac arrives. By the way Hedoine is a chemical compound of 13 carbons, 22 hydrogens and 3 oxygens.
I am surrounded by a spicy, warm, magical scent.
