212 Sexy Men Carolina Herrera 2006 Eau de Toilette

… very similar to Le Male. After reading the polar reviews, I was hoping I would be on the “+” side of the fence, but alas, it’s very light, and doesn’t perform well on my skin.

I grabbed it because I LOVE Le Male, and I wanted a more robust performing, longer lasting swing. Not this one, at least on my skin.

This one sits very close from the very start, with a soft 1-2ft radius, and a very light sillage trail. Longevity wise, it lasts (as a skin scent) about 3-5hours.

The scent itself is very nice. It’s like a more rounded, non-minty Le Male. If it was louder, I would be VERY happy. I can’t complain too much, however, as I got this one for $35 on fragranceX. You get what you pay for, right? I was just hoping for a low dollar score, and I missed. Oh well.

Again, not a bad scent at all, but don’t expect this to reach anyone further than a shoulders length in distance, let alone through a mask, 6ft+ away.

A lesser personage than Alberto Morillas would never have got away with it.

I for one am glad he did, but I still can't figure out what's so sexy about a bamboo long house in the jungle and a pot of curry.

Ok, let's say that this is more like an evening/night out fragrance for young men. Just like 1 million, ultra male etc. And you know why this one is the best of them all? Because ultra male is screaming "HEY GIRLS, YOU KNOW WHO IS SEXY? I'M SEXY !!!". 212 sexy men doesn't scream at all, because it doesn't have to. It knows that it is an attention grabber. It is quiet, yet more intriguing than the others. It's simply more interesting. It's deeper. Just grab it if you wanna be the "quiet king of the night". You won't regret it. Trust me

It's a very mature sexy.
To me this kind of sexy isn't for a young man.
This is a grown man thats in his 40s who stepped out for the night & is trying to make sure whoever catches a whiff of him, will enjoy what they catch

This fragrance starts out with a zesty warmth, it's very sexy from the very start. A tad bit synthetic but that goes away after about 5-7 mins after you have applied.
The fragrance almost immediately after 15mins, turns into a warm spicy hug, the Tonka & Cardamom do really good work together & make this kind of scent, more on the mature side. It's like a familiar warmth, the vanilla comes out after around the hour mark. The amber amplifies it.
The dry down is amber, woody, still a little spicy with a good but of vanilla. Jt's still very familiar.

It's not too heavy for just winter, it's pretty versatile for most times of the yr, I'd try to make it work on NOT TOO hot of a night.
The heavier base won't catch in the air the way you'd want it to.

I blind bought this (which usually is a big no-no) and I regretted doing so cause I didn't care too much about Sexy Men, it kinda smelled like curry to me so I just kept it in the back of my dresser but by the 3rd time I forced myself to use it I kinda warmed up to it. (That curry-like spicy smell I got was the cardamom)

All in all I'm starting to reconsider this fragrance, last night I wore it and really got a kick out of it, I just wish you could get more vanilla and tonka and the cardamom wasn't so overpowering.

Is 'Sexy Men' the right name? I don't think it is sexy but I'll let that question to the ladies
