Ode to Oud

To define this perfume is indeed complex.
As complex as its pyramid. I smell smoky and leathery natural oud notes, masterfully blended.
After a few hours the oud seems to open up and I smell something more resinous but still woody base, at times incensed.
30 ml of pure olfactory wonder of Extreme quality.
It is particularly concentrated and full-bodied. One spray and it lasted all day.
Wonderful with a capital M. An Ode to Oud.

"O sole, o sole mio!"

Woke Morisco, a collection I might call "experimental" by Ensar Oud, where the focus is art: visual, literary or musical.
An artist, through his works, wants to communicate something to the viewer and infuse him with a message: someone did it through visual art (Van Gogh) or some through voice (Pavarotti).
Moshpit Pavarotti has the famous Modenese tenor Luciano Pavarotti as its inspiration.
The title is a fusion of classical melodies and hard rock.
The fragrance, in fact, fully reflects this dualism: it is smoky, dark, dense, chaotic, but at the same time harmonious, soft and elegant.
The protagonists of this creation are the three types of oud:
-Maroke: incensed, earthy, smoky and with moist hints of rainy forest.
-Wild Cambodi: slightly sweet, jammy and soft.
-Malinau: vanilla, buttery and fruity nuances.
These three precious oils are blend creating a unique olfactory sensation.
Smoky, dark, and tobacco scents alternate with sweeter/resinous parts and more green ones.
Powerful and scratchy - elegant and tame.
It is really hard to describe what it feels like: the very high quality, the Ensar's mastery in composing it captures your attention and transports you to another dimension.

Wow...the grill master went overboard with the BBQ sauce!

Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Woke Morisco - Moshpit Pavarotti :-) Now that's a really cool fragrance... And unfortunately for me, it's also unacceptable! Sometimes I don't know how the ratings on Parfumo come about... But nobody wants to smell like that, do they? So my environment was very shocked...The fragrance also lasts far more than 15 hours and the sillage is so blatant that I always have to think of a barbecue.

The top note smells brutally of a smoky barbecue sauce. There is also a herbal marinade consisting of sage and thyme. This smokiness continues in the heart note. It also smells quite peaty and of cigars and tobacco. Dark clouds of smoke persist in the base. The oud then also brings a lot of coked undergrowth, mustiness and a strong earthiness, which becomes unbearable (for me) towards the end.

Sorry guys and gals...I'm sure the Ensar Oud followers are already cursing me. But I'm just out of it...
