The name says it all

Very clean. The name Warm Cotton pretty much explains what this is....freshly laundered cotton pulled out of the dryer with the lingering dryer sheet smell wafting in the air. I know that some do not care for that scent, but I enjoy it. Out of the gate the projection is quite surprising as it is quite strong, but does mellow out. If you like a fresh detergent/dryer sheet smell, this is for you. If not, move along.

Cleaning Day

This smells exactly like a pile of laundry but opens with a whiff of lemon bathroom cleaner (a note that I actually enjoy). This was pretty screechy to me to the point where my nostrils almost burned every time I sniffed my wrist, which is unfortunate because I love the way clean laundry smells. Not bad but would be way better if it were dialed back a LOT.

Laundry Detergent in a Perfume Bottle

My personal favorite Clean scent. I actually like the Classic iterations of this scent a bit more, since I feel like this blend is a tad more harsh and in your face with the laundry detergent/dryer sheet vibes, to the point of being overwhelming at times. It's a good scent to throw on while running errands or if you just want to feel fresh. I wouldn't recommend spraying too heavily though.

Warm Cotton by Clean Reserve is a pretty realistic laundry detergent/dryer sheet scent but not in a bad way. It's perfect for when you want to smell fresh and clean.

The best part is the dry down - it still smells like laundry, but with an ever so slight cinnamon/incense note that feels so cozy. It's like if you started out the day by doing laundry and some light cleaning and then snuggled up under a blanket to take a break and watch some TV. Very unique and not a classic "perfume," but a wonderful fragrance nonetheless.

The Laundry is Finally Done

First of all, one can perceive an intense and very strong, subtly sweet citrus note that really wakes you up and provides a lovely refreshing sensation.

The citrus note completely avoids sour attributes, instead bringing along a nice bright woody tone, and I must say that the ginger appears very authentic here.

At the same time, the ginger is enveloped by ozonic notes and lifted powerfully into the air.

Unfortunately, I can't name the ozonic notes exactly, but it smells very suspiciously like Ariel, not the liquid detergent, but the powder.

"Not just clean, but pure" - as the well-known advertising slogan conveys, and I can only nod in agreement to that :-)

Ultimately, the top note smells like freshly washed, still damp laundry.

In summer, this is an absolute delight, as during this time I eagerly await the washing machine to finally finish so I can throw on the still damp T-shirt for a cool down, which unfortunately only lasts for about 5 minutes.

With Clean Reserve - Warm Cotton, it's different; here you get to enjoy it for much longer, and I believe that this scent cannot be divided into top, heart, and base notes, as you really have to pay attention to notice the change in the fragrance at all.

A little while later, the scent is still the same but acquires very delicate, fragile light floral and very subtle woody nuances that act far in the background, and I could only identify lotus, jasmine, and orchid with the help of coffee beans. I can easily imagine that this very subtle change in scent would completely go unnoticed by less experienced noses.

However, I unfortunately could not perceive the peppery notes and green mint; in my opinion, they might have been used to maintain the scent of the freshly washed, still slightly damp laundry.

In the last 3 hours, the fragrance becomes very pleasantly clear and warming, slightly sweet and nutty roasted.

Yes, to me it smells like a clear, warming, sweet, lightly roasted hazelnut.

And I think that's fantastic! :-)

Overall, the scent lasts 8 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed from the start to be very noticeable at a whole arm's length, and this is maintained for 4 hours before it gradually diminishes until the scent finally fades away completely.
