Creamy, addictive white floral goddess
ECSTATIC Julie Pluchet first 2017 > then 2021 in a new bottle, haven’t tried older formulas

JUMP UP AND KISS ME ECSTATIC is one of the most intoxicating white floral scent which I know. Bitter sweet orange adds the brightness and guides the senses to the rich floral heart. Seductive and sexy Tuberose is the main player but the blend is so complex that this is much more than Tuberose scent. I like how Jasmine and Orange Blossom are balancing a heady Tuberose since it can be challenging for me sometimes. Ylang-Ylang adds not only an exotic touch but the sweetness as well and Sandalwood in the base complements the creaminess together with it. Amber and Tonka Bean together ensure the depth in the blend but they don’t make it dark in any kind of they and Amber doesn’t perform in an usual way - it doesn’t bring any resinous, balsamic nor oriental character to the scent. This is very special white floral even if it’s not so unique scent than Hedonistic.

If thinking the creamy, mellow texture it’s in the same category with Love Tuberose but the scent differs and Ecstatic is more complex. They both have their own specialities, Love Tuberose having a clear realistic whipped cream in it while Ecstatic has a captivating exotic aroma in it. I had a decant of Ecstatic and Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic for many years before buying the bottle of both and honestly I just couldn’t decide what I’m thinking about it. Like I have written in my statement earlier, sometimes I thought that this is too linear and I was disappointed in it but I was comparing it too much with Hedonistic which is much more unique for sure. Anyway, after giving up the idea of choosing just one of the two, I also began to see more clearly the beauty and uniqueness of Ecstatic and I am incredibly glad I bought both and have them now in my collection. Both are luxurious, head-turners with extremely high quality and exceptionally skillful blending. I have written a review of Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic as well.

The longevity is eternal, easily the whole day.

I don't find this similar at all with any in "Smells similar" list. Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic differs a lot even if you can sense that they are in the same collection. I have Casamorati - 1888 , Red Iceberg , Danger Parfum , and La Fenice pour Femme and none of them sell similar at all. Torino23 I don't have but I don't like it at all. The only connection which I can make is with Love Tuberose and it's because of the texture mentioned earlier. Tuberose in them has a lot of similarities as well even if the overall scent is a bit different.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful.

I would appreciate if you follow my

All time favorite
This is a scent I can’t live without.
Every year I am waiting for the spring and summer time to wear this scent. It is amazing in every way, very feminine and elegant. I got most of my compliments on this scent which I rend to over spray a bit. For me it is truly intoxicating and shines the best on a hot summer night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something unique and very high quality.

DANGER!

And by that I don't mean the danger that arises when you sometimes jump up a bit impetuously to kiss someone ecstatically - although here, too, of course, there is a certain potential of self- and alien danger slumbering. No, I'm talking about Roja's "Danger", my current favourite perfume for sensual occasions, for being alone and feeling good, for going out, for the big robe and the white T-shirt. So quasi at the moment (and already for some time) my all-time-favourite.
But I didn't notice the resemblance until the next morning, when I sniffed my sweater, because while I was wearing it to the washing machine a wonderful breeze of scent penetrated my nose. Immediately she diagnosed happy "Danger", while my brain was still wondering and came to the end: NÖ, yesterday I tested "Jump up"!
Since I don't always trust my nose immediately and without restrictions, after some hesitation and hesitation (these fragrances are really outrageously expensive and I have only a few milliliters) I really made the right-left comparison.
Now I also know why I didn't notice the similarity right at the beginning, then "Jump up" is much fresher, more fruity - and impetuous to overwhelmingly flowery.
But after the first attack of the killer flowers it is indeed so. From the heart note to the gradual, final scent, the two are not twins, but like two beautiful sisters who are very similar. "Jump up" remains a bit fresher and more present, while "Danger" develops faster towards the sensual, warm and spicy base. One of them, "Jump up" clearly has the edge. Applied yesterday at 18.00 o'clock, today at 5.00 o'clock in the morning I could still clearly perceive the original scent there, while "Danger" already became a soft tender spicy skin scent.
And as is always the case in life: There I find an almost-fragrance twin to one of my favorites - and then it doesn't cost half, but the same DOUBLE. But wait a minute, I have a completely wrong view of things! Actually, the experiment only proves how thrifty and frugal I have been and continue to be! Because my darling "Danger" could not push even the quite ecstatic kiss, I must admit, from the throne!

Ecstatic... a stunning experience
Ecstatic by Clive Christian is a very mixed experience for me, and even after almost a year, which is how long I've owned the fragrance, it hasn't gotten any better. On the contrary, the fragrance always manages to blow me away... unfortunately not in a positive way.

The tuberose in the opening is simply overwhelming. It doesn't just knock me flat as the wearer, but also the other notes in the fragrance pyramid!
What follows is no less irritating: a strange, "bitter" smell that inevitably reminds me of medicine or herbal schnapps. Whether this is due to the wormwood or the opium will forever remain Clive Christian's secret. In any case, it numbs my senses instead of refreshing them and a slight nausea sets in...
Ylang ylang and jasmine also play their part in this olfactory chaos by showing their most intrusive and unpleasant side.
There is no trace of rose and cocoa leaf.

Anyone who now thinks that I'm looking at a young woman making her way to the club in a floral cloud of bubblegum fragrance is mistaken. What I see here is an older grande dame on her way to the Vienna Opera Ball, where she wants to beguile, or rather stun, the entire world of the rich and beautiful with her scent.

After about two hours, Ecstatic finally reveals a softer, more pleasant side. The warm notes of vanilla and tonka bean do their best to save the overall impression.
Those who are not yet in a coma are presented with the beautiful base of the fragrance. But unfortunately, any help comes too late for me - my olfactory well-being is already numb at this point.
Did I mention that the fragrance lasts forever?
If you like tuberose with a high society flair, you should definitely give this fragrance a try.
For me, Ecstatic is a (failed) attempt to combine luxury and opulence in one bottle.
For some it is a bittersweet symphony, for others simply a very expensive anesthetic.
Please ask your doctor or pharmacist about risks and side effects!

P.S.: If you're wondering why I have this expensive fragrance in my collection at all... I simply won it in an Insta giveaway.

Initially smooth and fruity spicy-floral, a sweet and creamy oriental floral-woody Fall fragrance, on a warm and musky spicy-resinous base.

Smells like a 75 old British lady driving her dogs with a Land Rover to the park. Has Tuberose, Rose and sweet smokiness in dry down. Nö !!

To me it sounds like the old version of C for women but with less ladan and a lot of tuberose. A scent of a modern, younger woman

Like a more animalic and more tuberosey version of the Love Don’t Be Shy of Kilian! Drydown is so similar.

Creamy surprisingly linear Tuberose, general combo w/ Vanilla base. Was thinking to buy it 1 yr ago but not special enough. Disappointed.

Zero overlap w/ Hedonistic, literally 0. Mainly ylang-ylang/tuberose & a spicy-sweet base, closer to I: Amber Oriental & Casamorati's 1888.
