Fresh and well-balanced cherry

I love this. I have rouge smoking so I assumed something like this would be redundant in the cherry/almond category but they're absolutely nothing alike. If rouge smoking is a rich dessert, Q intense is like a fizzy, slightly tart drink.

To me it's nothing like lost cherry either, which I have a decant of. There's nothing at all cough syrup-y or boozy about this one. Similar notes but a completely different experience. It's light and fresh and uplifting, while being totally different from your usual citrus bomb or marine freshie. There's definitely citrus in this but it blends in well and emphasises the tartness of the cherry rather than sticking out or being a focal point. The amber grounds it well without making it too heavy or dark. Sweet but far from cloying, and it's doing great so far in the summer heat.

I find the projection and longevity to be pretty good, I can smell it on myself for a few hours wafting in the air before it becomes a skin scent, and it lasts as a skin scent for at least a few hours more. Perhaps not as good as you would hope for something labelled "intense" but not as bad as some reviews would have you believe. I would also class this as solidly unisex, despite its marketing.

The More Beautiful Lost Cherry

One makes comparisons, perhaps not always good ones, but since LC is my great love that could use a bit more sweetness and lean more towards gourmand, I treated myself to some cherry novelties (luckily there are quite a few coming out right now).

I had my eye on this one very strongly as I found the EDP very beautiful, but the citrus note was absolutely not for me.

I sprayed it and immediately thought of LC; the cherry is there right away, dark and really beautifully sweet.
For a brief moment, even though it’s not listed, something citrusy comes through... I start to get worried... something like those sweet jelly oranges with sugar on the outside but a bit more bitter, like blood orange.....
As quickly as it appears, it’s gone again... phew, dodged a bullet...

Then it simply becomes beautifully sweet & intense like Amarena cherry syrup, thick and sticky (but wow, I’m totally into it) a lovely creamy marzipan note comes in quite quickly, and amber adds a dollop of vanilla cream on top... Wow, I can’t stay objective, because where LC was too unisex & liqueur-like for me, here I get my sugary Amarena cup that makes my mouth water....

Goodbye Lost Cherry... I am where I wanted to be....

Beautiful Cherry with a Touch of Lemon

The fruity light cherry scent is truly well done by Dolce Gabbana. The perfect everyday summer fragrance for me. The cherry is prominent, and when accompanied by a citrus note, the fragrance feels much lighter and more refreshing.

The best sweet choice for summer, without feeling too sweet and sticky through the scent.

beautiful, yet so delicate

Actually, I wanted to use The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense today, but I mixed up the samples and ended up with "Q (Eau de Parfum Intense) | Dolce & Gabbana." Well, then I'll just write a few words about the scent.
The perfume opens with this beautiful black cherry and amber. Heliotrope joins in, and that's about it. It smells wonderfully fruity and powdery. I have hairspray associations in my nose, but in a positive way.
The sillage is not enormous, and the longevity is the same. After three hours, it's only close to the skin, but still noticeable to those around me. Compliments are pouring in. However, it needs to be stronger for me to consider it a candidate for purchase. Thus, our love ends with the emptiness of my sample.

Today Q Eau de Parfum Intense is joining me. An ambered black cherry, almost skin-close. Amber and black cherry are the two notes that I perceive most clearly, only when I smell the sprayer. In the opening, there's a gentle black cherry with heliotrope, reminiscent of "Rouge Smoking (Eau de Parfum) | bdk Parfums," only here the amber is present. Now and then, I catch a minimal hint of citrus. Even though cherry is a typical summer fruit, I sometimes find fragrances with cherry notes a bit too heavy. This scent is not intrusive, rather a harbinger of summer. The queen with the three notes is allowed to stay. By the way, it becomes really creamy and heliotrope-powdery the longer it has contact with the skin.
