Not bad. Not great.

At first application, I absolutely hated the scent. Like very old vintage rancid perfume mixed with a very old syrupy menthol-y, bad cherry cough drop. I almost washed it off. However, I continued to wear it to try it out; and as it dried down, it did calm down and those offensive opening notes dissipated. So, what was left behind was a soft floral musk like scent and's it’s a bit powdery.

My biggest complaint is that it’s a very soft scent and the longevity doesn’t last very long. I feel like this would need to be replied every 2 to 3 hours with several sprays.

These are the opening lyrics of a famous song performed by great and unforgettable voices suche as Nat King Cole.
Falling in love is a complete , exciting, unique experience. everything in your life seems to be pink coloured and you walk on the clouds.
How to represent this mood with a perfume? I think that with this scent "King Giorgio" hitted the mark.
Pink outside and inviting, its cherry and red berries gourmand opening notes weel represent the sweetness of love with that touch of sour.
The flowery heart is a hymn to feminity: a voluptuos Jasmine marries the flowers' queen, a very romantic rose.
And because love can cause addiction like alcool and it drives you crazy when it's too much, why don't add an alcolic touch with an unusual vermouth base note?
It's the perfect accord. This "scented love story" is longlasting and quite strong and it's perfect by day as well as by night and everytime you want to feel sexy and teneder-romantic at the same time.
Very refined in its simplicity the bottle, with a dusky silver cap .The price is high ....just like true love!

Happy Valentine

Today is Valentine's Day - the day of lovers and those in love.

I subtly brought it up to my husband - and he replied dryly: American nonsense.
That may be true, but I would have appreciated a small gesture - even if it was American and silly.

Nevertheless, he silently gets dressed - also because I had raved about a discounted coat.

In the department store, however, he wordlessly heads to the perfume section - and directly to the table with the sale fragrances.

Of all the offered scents, In Love with You jumps out at me - partly because of the romantic nonsense title - and partly because I had already tested this fragrance - and found it good.

Beautifully sweet and fruity with cherry and raspberry - adorned with gentle rose petals.
The blackcurrant adds a slight bitterness, so the sweetness is somewhat muted.
However, the delicious factor remains.
I am particularly taken with the softly smoky finish, which makes In Love with You very distinctive.
Could it be the wormwood?

Overall, a well-rounded lovable scent - with gourmand undertones.

My husband nods in agreement - and a fragrance for a friend is also included.

The targeted coat was also included.

All in all, not a dreary Valentine's Day after all.

Better than its Rating

It's always astonishing how differently fragrances are rated here. Is it due to the brands or what exactly?
There are sweet scents that should be (in my opinion) banned, yet they are still hyped. Others, on the other hand, are not as bad as they are portrayed here. And the third type of fragrances resembles highly rated scents but still gets bashed.
I have a theory about that.... but that's not what this is about.

First of all
The scent:
Starts with a sweet raspberry cream note. Yes, sweet and somewhat artificially light. But that doesn't bother here, as the raspberry quickly gives way to a tart, zesty blackcurrant that passionately wafts in with dark spicy vanilla.
Then the sweetness becomes softer and finer, transforming into cream and acquiring a slight caramelized almond touch.
Rose and jasmine? They seem to have hidden well, but that’s okay.
This scent is also well crafted. It remains dark, smoky, creamy sweet until it disappears. However, a sweet warmth keeps wafting towards me, which is quite pleasant.
Unlike some other fragrances, you can really discern a scent progression here. I think. I smell. I believe.

Sillage? Not really booming, but detectable for over 8 hours within 20 cm.
A well-made sweet cream scent. Not a headache-inducing candidate and certainly not cheap-smelling. A fragrance that is truly meant for the masses, but suitable for ages 28 and up. More for evenings and going out. And made for the cooler nights.

Conclusion:
Better than its reputation.
Creamy without a cardboard effect. Not a headache candidate with a very pleasant finish. A scent for sweet noses that appreciate a creamy fragrance.
