The filler tropical beach episode of every anime ever
Very sweet. Creamy, like coconut milk. Salty and a little aquatic, but very... uniformly so, as if the salt is completely dissolved in the milky liquid. Resinous – in a slick buttery way rather than gooey. Floral. Very yellow.
Leaves a thick lasting trail, but needs a fair bit of time to engulf the larger space in your immediate vicinity if you sit still. The type of scent that's too heavy for its own good.

Feels like eating desserts at a seashore café. The idea of sitting on a terrace outside sounds genius until the wind rises and suddenly your exorbitantly priced piece of sponge cake with wilting berries tastes like sand and sea water.

Falls into a category of super sweet and heavy summery perfumes that are meant to invoke a "tropical vacation" feeling in the wearer. Welp, at least it doesn't smell like sunscreen...

Takes about ~3 hours to dry down to the base. During those 3 hours makes me feel weirdly uncomfortable. Like I'm an unspecified anime girl in a filler beach episode. Washed ashore at a picturesque tropical island that has a single abandoned hut in it full of nothing but hundreds of cutesy skimpy bikinis to choose from.

It's hard to put the feeling into words, but while it smells pretty good, there's something... ingenuine about it. As if the composition is saying "look at me, everything about me exists for your titillation". I personally don't find that feeling in any way enjoyable.

The drydown is mostly gourmand. Powdery in an "old crumbly merengue" way. It lingers for a few more hours, but at that point it's a skinscent that I can easily ignore by keeping my arms away from my face.

Objectively – it's decent. But personally? I'm very much not its target audience.

I wished for you the first time
Gaultier Divine was, for me, underdeveloped and totally unharmonious on the skin.
Now with "Gaultier Divine Le Parfum | Jean Paul Gaultier," everything has been improved and what can I say... BOMB!
Why not do it this way from the start?

About the scent in advance, it is very strong and lasts for hours on the skin and days on clothing.
Not for weak noses!
It smells elegant, floral sweet, and slightly salty.
This version is totally balanced and really rounded.
Through the base, I find the Le Parfum also rich and dark.

Not an 08/15 scent and a woman definitely stands out.
Wearable everywhere and in every season.
Potential for a signature!

Definitely a candidate for testing!

Similar to the original, here with a bit more depth & power
I definitely have to write something about this Divine Le Parfum. The perfumer here is once again the talented Quentin Bisch, collaborating with Givaudan. I am a big fan of this perfumer, and you can't really go wrong with any of his works. For some brands, he creates more creative pieces; releases like Paco Rabanne or these Divines from Gaultier are, of course, much more mainstream and tailored. At Puig, they want to appeal to the broader audience. However, I find this Divine series, consisting of "Gaultier Divine | Jean Paul Gaultier," "Gaultier Divine Elixir | Jean Paul Gaultier," and this Le Parfum, quite successful and not just one of many. This DNA is catchy and stays in the memory. It's a fragrance that can be worn throughout the year, as these notes are very versatile. It might be too cloying for the extreme heat, but otherwise, it's really well done. I haven't tested the Elixir yet; this Le Parfum feels a bit more elegant than the original, but it is also a bit heavier. I like both and think they are worth it, especially if you're looking for pleasant but not generic scents. A very modern fragrance that fits well with Quentin Bisch's style.

The box is pretty with golden highlights, and the bottle is truly out there. It goes in the Classique direction with the torso, but here it's a bit wilder with this corset. It's definitely an eye-catcher, whether positively or negatively is up to each person's taste. Prices are typical for a women's designer release. Available in 30, 50, and 100ml. A refill is also available.
Divine Le Parfum has only fragrance notes, no pyramid. Since this scent has little evolution, this is understandable. As usual, it starts off a bit wild but becomes tamer as it develops. What I like about this fragrance are the exotic notes. You find many summery flowers here like Frangipani, Ylang-Ylang, Lily, and Jasmine. A wonderful floral freshness that is slightly sultry but still manages to be worn in summer. Creamy notes like coconut and a solar note are added. Coconut is not in the foreground, so it is perceived more as an exotic note. The sea salt note brings a summery vibe that really spreads a pleasant and casual atmosphere. Akigalawood contributes that typical woody vibe that Bisch likes so much. A bit of warmth and sweetness comes in with amber, benzoin, and sweet meringue, which naturally intensifies towards the end. This fragrance is not too heavy, but in extreme heat, it might be a bit much for me. A great scent profile that you get here. Well suited for fans of modern designer fragrances.
Performance is typically good for a Puig fragrance. This Divine Le Parfum definitely lasts for 10 hours. The sillage is good, and the scent has a nice projection.

Overall, a great appealing women's designer fragrance that works year-round. For the evening or not-too-hot days, it's always a great choice that stands out from the crowd. I particularly enjoy the salty sweetness.

Love at the Second Spray ️
Divine Le Parfum didn't immediately convince me upon first application, to be honest. I had the same effect with the original Gaultier Divine. Both are pleasant scents, but nothing that blew me away right away, typical Jean Paul Gaultier DNA, after all.

But then, after a few minutes, it started to develop on my skin, and that was the moment I understood what makes it so special. Love at the second spray, so to speak.

The fragrance opens with a fresh note of bergamot, which is zesty and light. But then the salty accords come into play, reminding me of a walk by the sea. This blend of freshness and salt is incredibly pleasant and gives the scent something unique.

In the heart note, delicate white flowers join in, making the fragrance seductive but not overpowering. Jasmine and rose provide a floral depth that feels very elegant. And finally, a warm base of amber lingers softly on the skin, giving it a pleasant, soft warmth.
Gaultier Divine Le Parfum is a fragrance that, with its combination of freshness, floral notes, and a hint of salt, is perfect for those looking for something special, not too overpowering, yet still seductive. For me, it is an absolute must-have in my collection and a lovely, more intense version of the original!

Annoying disappointing scent
I ordered the perfume blind because I have found all the scents from Jean Paul Gaultier to be excellent so far. The fragrance components sounded very interesting, but I was somewhat put off by the salty note. I ordered it anyway because I wanted to try something new and had never been disappointed by Jean Paul Gaultier scents.
The first spray was a completely new experience for me as I had never encountered such a scent before. My first impression was: it smells like parsley.
On the skin, in my opinion, the salty note becomes quite prominent, but as the fragrance lingers on the skin, this note fades and a powdery scent remains.
Overall, it's certainly not a bad fragrance, but there is something about it that bothers me; it's somehow an annoying scent, a scent you don't become addicted to like with some other Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances, such as La Belle.

I really dislike this scent. The first time I sprayed it on myself I instantly regretted it. It’s far too overbearing.

Like it more than the previous one, still very redundant in the pool of existing perfumes. Florals are amplified to the max here

A dark, amber version of the original. The salt lily is much more pleasant here and not so cloying. Enjoyable hot & cold.

Floral sweetness meets aquatic-salty notes + creamy ylang-ylang & coconut. Quite summery & tropical. It's uplifting.

Thought at first: This one isn't necessary. Mistake! Darker, more subdued, more elegant than the original. But just as beautiful...

Super creamy and long-lasting. JPG has definitely delivered well with Le Parfum. Yellow cocktail on a sunny beach. Divine ;)

Better than the Gaultier Divine which somehow felt off. This version is wearable and more elegant.
