Raffaello with a touch of flowers
Such a perfect take on a tropical coconut vanilla. No, this isn't a new and original concept, but the scent is just right: it has enough floral notes to keep it from smelling too simple and overwhelmingly sweet, like some vanilla-coco scents tend to be, but no flower stands out too much and it doesn't turn sharp and soapy either. I don't know what it is about Kayali scents, but they often hit a sweet spot for my taste. It's the same with Vanilla 28, Musk 12 and Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper 25, they aren't revolutionary, they just blend some well-known notes in a way that is extremely pleasant to my nose.
What I love about this is that it's soo creamy. It reminds me of the inside of a Rafaello sweet, but with white florals, so it's not edible. There is a bit of a sunscreen/tanning oil scent to this, but the vanilla keeps it from fully going there. The florals are blended very nicely. Especially tuberose, but also jasmine and gardenia, can easily overtake a perfume. In this, the honeysuckle and pear blossom add a freshness to the floral bouquet that tones down the strength of the hypnotic white flowers.
It really smells like an idealized, dare I say utopian, beach holiday. In my opinion this works best in summer, because the vanilla and coconut shine on warm skin, so the scent smells milkier and sweeter. It's more floral on cool skin. I noticed one little thing while wearing this on vacation: When it's too hot, like 35+° and you're running around all the time, it wears off very quickly. Better use it for lounging around and relaxing.
