The scent of blueberry: Incredibly fruity and slightly sweet. Clearly invigorating in effect.
Black currant or the flower of the black currant has an intensely fruity, tart note that provides freshness and clarity. Black currant refreshes and creates a clear mind, thereby strengthening the body. All parts of the black currant plant are aromatic (the stem, the leaves, the buds, the berries).
The outstanding scent of black currants and flower buds comes from the trichomes, a substance that conveys an aroma reminiscent of a cat's urine alongside the fruity facets. Some can smell it, others cannot. Luckily, I am spared from this.
Now the violet. In the language of flowers, the violet is considered modest and humble. The substance that gives the flower its distinctive scent is called Jonone. Violet scent has a light, clear sweetness that evokes an impression of floral purity, innocence, and freshness.
In aromatherapy, violet is used to reduce aggression. Restless sleep is said to be improved by the bright, cheerful scent. Inner balance is strengthened, and the effects of shock are softened. The gentle, harmonious violet scent also helps with fears and emotional disturbances. It calms and opens the mind to new things.
All these components make Couleur Kenzo Violet a fruity - not overly sweet - cocktail that comes across as slightly creamy, refreshing, and radiating good vibes.
A lovely scent and - regardless of whether it's winter or summer - wearable in every season.
Longevity is rather low - about 4-5 hours. But you can always reapply :-)
