Barmaid puts the grass consumer in the shade

We start here with a very fruity-serious apricot, which I really like. Neither too sweet nor too artificial. Very subtle and wonderfully complementary to the rum accord, which can be detected shortly afterwards.

A little confused by the name, I wait eagerly for the cannabis notes to appear, but the apricot doesn't want to give way quite so quickly. Fortunately for me, because the boozy bar atmosphere remains in the room. Only after about half an hour do the cannabis notes take over. They are pleasant and soon combine with the leather and osmanthus. The fragrance lasts longer than average. It really is a special fragrance that I have never experienced before.

However, there is one point that bothers me. I think you should have opted for a rush. It could either be a bar visit like the Fovere or a couch session with cannabis like the Pink Jesus , but the two together don't harmonize so well for me.

Does an aristocratic lady do such things?

In some circles, one drinks a liqueur and in others, one smokes a joint - but as a well-mannered and well-off lady? Actually not! This fragrance starts off a bit fruity, with rum-soaked apricots, hmmm delicious.
But don't be fooled, now a smoke rises, this forbidden substance yet with a pleasant aroma. It is paired with a cup of truly noble and expensive Assam tea. A refined tea culture to enjoy everything in peace. The tea is served in fine, delicate cups, of course in the smoking lounge where a thin wisp of smoke from the just-lit cannabis cigarette wafts its aroma. Noble, old furniture polished to perfection tells its story in this room. Everything mixes and fills my lungs. I let my thoughts embark on a journey, but in the next moment, I jump up and run full speed up the green hill, letting myself be caught by the old trees of the forest that always whisper softly. Wonderful to be this free spirit once again, but does such a lady behave this way? My mother's voice admonishes me, but I know she is smiling knowingly behind my back and winking at me.
You can definitely smell the cannabis, but also this noble tea leaf, fine woods, and this very subtle fruity note. I don't pick up the pepper so much, maybe it refines the cannabis and softens it. A great fragrance that lies in a brown aristocratic wooden box as if it needs to mature in peace, very fine. The price also enters the luxury range, so what, we only live once. This fragrance belongs to a brave woman who is a well-mannered lady. But her heart is free, wild, overflowing, yet always lovable.
I do not want to encourage anyone to try forbidden substances or fruits; this is just my association with a very successful perfume.

What a perfume.

A few days ago, I happened to stop by Birkholz in Oberpollinger in Munich. Premium fragrances from Germany always interest me particularly. After some sniffing, the lady there said she had a scent that would suit me. She showed me Lady Cannabis.

Well, what can I say, the lady seems to have an excellent eye for a true lady. The name of the perfume reminded me of my youth, which I partly spent in the “Age of Aquarius” movement. Although I embody a true lady today, I have always remained wild and free at heart.
The scent, a true revelation. A beautiful, elegant, feminine fragrance that continues softly and finely nuanced from the very beginning. Neroli and tea notes with a hint of blonde tobacco remain subtle, cool-scented, and attractive. Only the slightly herbal note, however, makes it something special. But only a connoisseur would be able to identify it as the scent of good grass.

The expectations were almost met!

A very beautiful, modern scent for a lady who has a devilish sparkle in her eyes)))) The combination of fragrance notes was quite intriguing. You can actually smell a subtle hint of cannabis, but it is playfully balanced with the light leather, so neither one clearly dominates. You also notice a liqueur note. The scent unfolds very deliciously and seductively. The only thing that makes me sad is that it doesn't last very long ((( it's heartbreaking. I want to smell it longer!
So far, I've tried it on my wrist; maybe it will last longer in my hair. A fantastic fragrance.

Smoking is Not Ladylike

When I first heard the name "Lady Cannabis | Birkholz," I immediately thought it could be the sister scent of "Black Afgano (Extrait de Parfum) | Nasomatto." However, the brother clearly has the upper hand in direct comparison.

This fragrance confuses me a bit, as I can't quite categorize it and simply don't know what to make of it. Overall, the scent goes through three clearly defined phases. The opening was so boring and unremarkable that I can hardly find words for it. Apricot liqueur, rum, pepper? Somehow, I don't perceive any of that. Only in the following 30-60 minutes does the fragrance shift to a spicier direction with such a minimal hint of cannabis that it could easily be a figment of my imagination. Hardcore smokers and drug-sniffing dogs might be able to detect it better than I can. But I am very sure that in a blind test, very few people would be able to identify the cannabis note. In the fragrance "Black Afgano (Extrait de Parfum) | Nasomatto," the cannabis note is much more pronounced. In the end, the scent transforms again and leans more towards a floral direction with minimal woody accents. The leather also does not make an appearance in front of my nose. What also confuses me a bit is the marketing of the fragrance. The designation "Lady Cannabis" and the description "Rebellious, elegant, modern. A perfume that showcases the different and surprising sides of a lady." suggest to me that it is a full-fledged women's fragrance. However, the scent is still marketed as unisex. Personally, I would say that the fragrance leans more towards the feminine side. However, the user statistics on Parfumo paint a different picture, as 52 percent of the 48 owners of the fragrance on Parfumo are male. I did not expect that.

The performance is unfortunately poor for an EdP in this price category. I could perceive about three hours of scent from four sprays on my neck. Since legalization, something of a cannabis note lingers in the air in some parks for much longer...

The bottle is high-quality and, independent of the scent, beautiful, but when I ask myself how this bottle is supposed to represent the fragrance, I have no answer. I see no connection between the scent and the bottle.

100ml costs 285,- euros. That is a lot and, in my opinion, too much. The scent DNA is mediocre and the performance poor. Birkholz surely has better fragrances in the same price range.

Thanks to legalization, there is more cannabis in the air than Lady Cannabis could ever produce.
