I have received a sample of the fragrance and applied after showering ... came to me directly known.
I happened to wear Interlude Man yesterday and was not sure if I still have this fragrance on me.

For me, Replica - Under the Stars smells like the little and shy brother of the Amouage, in the opening and dry down!
Who is the Amouage too fierce, too intense, too spicy, can try the this fragrance.

Is the fragrance bad? No. The reviews here I feel too harsh.
Basically, it is a Western interpretation of the Interlude Man.
H + S are average, for the office definitely better than the Amouage.

I can only "warmly" recommend you

I'm going to try my hand at my first review.
For me, this fragrance represents a cozy and very warming scent. That may sound strange, but for me this fragrance radiates the warmth of a campfire or a fireplace. Now I haven't tested its brother "Fireplace" yet and can't make an exact distinction here. However, this fragrance is a rather cozy and cozy fragrance for me, which will certainly also be used next to the fireplace or campfire.
I bought the fragrance in 2023 and, based on the reviews on Parfumo, I was firmly convinced that I had to add it to my growing collection of fragrances. I'm talking about a so-called blind buy here.

The fragrance:
It starts very woody, very smoky and leathery. Basically what the description on the bottle says.
The fragrance opens with a wonderful pepper scent, which is enveloped by the leather and oud and is drowned out after a short time. The cedar also makes a brief appearance in the course of the fragrance, but then recedes into the background behind the oud and leather. In the drydown, there are still a few hints of labdanum, which gives the fragrance a roundness, a certain touch of moss, but without being too intrusive or overpowering. The oud and leather are present throughout the entire fragrance and accompany you from start to finish. Initially, the note is a little strong with six sprays and can be overpowering. However, this is more due to the dosage than the actual strength of the individual fragrance notes.

Sillage:
The fragrance has a good sillage, which can take over even smaller rooms after several hours. At first, you only smell yourself and think you are standing next to a campfire wearing a leather jacket. After almost 5 hours, the sillage is extinguished like the last embers and is no longer present.

Performance:
As already mentioned, the fragrance performs excellently for at least six hours and then (in my case) becomes closer to the skin and recedes. It radiates a certain warmth over the entire time, which can also result in it lasting longer than six hours in colder temperatures.

Season / occasion:
For me, this fragrance gives the impression that it can be worn all year round. However, my advice is to wear it in the evening and the occasion should not be a "club" or "grandma's funeral". It is for cozy evenings that end in togetherness or that have a more casual character.

Conclusion:
In view of the points already mentioned, I can definitely recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a feel-good fragrance for colder days or cozy evenings. I find the performance and sillage with about 6 sprays to be very potent and I also find the fragrance to be very pleasant and fragrant. I have already been approached about the fragrance and then heard via three corners that the person had also bought this fragrance.
In conclusion, I can only say that I can highly recommend it and that it won me over right from the start. However, I would advise that you test it at least once before buying and find out whether it is suitable for your own collection.

Under the Stars

Here in the greater LA area of California, it’s not uncommon to go out to the desert like Joshua Tree National Park for a weekend getaway. There’s something about the quietude of the cool desert evenings that feels like such a welcome respite from the M-F grind. That’s where Under the Stars took me, and I’m here for it.

I think this is a beautiful and palatable take on oud and leather—notes that are known to be a little bit more challenging than your average white floral. I don’t usually gravitate towards these notes since I often fear they’re too pungent or too hyper-masculine, but this isn’t the case with UtS. Yes, it’s smoky, leathery, and has that burnt rubber tire smell so characteristic of oud, but it’s also airy and a bit sweet. I can imagine it being overwhelming if you’re too heavy-handed with the application (men, we’re looking at you), but as it stands with the longevity and pleasant drydown, I think it’s a nice scent!

Within the REPLICA repertoire, I mentally separate them into two groups: lighter, AM-type scents (Under the Lemon Trees, Lazy Sunday Morning, Bubble Bath, etc.) or deeper, PM-type scents (By the Fireplace, Autumn Vibes, and this one, Under the Stars). For the latter group, I do find an ambery sweetness that operates as a through-line in all these fragrances. It tames what might be too left-field and makes them a little bit more approachable. Without it, I don’t think I could wear UtS comfortably.
