A parody of Dior Homme Intense/Parfum
This starts like a parody of Dior Homme Intense, sweet and woody, strong, artificial, and decidedly unpleasant. There is also a cloying rose, very sweet yet sharp. At this point it's a rather obnoxious scent. After an hour the smell dials down dramatically and becomes tolerable or even borderline pleasant, in an exaggerated yet classic case of a bad fragrance becoming better with time. Or maybe not a classic case - after it plateaus, it keeps going for a long while on a typical EDT level in the transformed form.

Both the scent and the initial performance drop are similar to Just Jack Mystery, which is a fragrance you've never heard of and will never hear of again, and for a good reason. Black Prestigium is sharper than Mystery, though. It is also similar to Armaf Club de Nuite Intense (woman), which is supposed to be more spicy if you were to believe Fragrantica, but really is not. Black Prestigium is just more woody and sharper. As regards the purported similarity to Dior Homme Parfum, it is hard for me to believe that a top of the line Dior perfume would smell like this.

The Whole World in a Bottle!
Mancera...a brand that has a lot of good offerings, but often lacked that final spark for me to make it into my collection...like Cedrat Boise, Aoud Cafe, Lemon Line, or Sand Aoud...Aoud Cafe was the closest so far.
Curious but without huge expectations, I approached the new...Black Prestigium...a full-bodied and grand name...let's see if it lives up to it.
Behind this rather self-assured name lies quite a lot...and all of it is good!
After a mini citrus note with the first spray, everything that can delight a fragrance lover comes forth: a deep black, rich, and oily rose, a buttery soft styled designer oud-balsamic, smooth, slightly sweet...wonderful...and violets that have just the right dose. It's as if a world of fragrances were united in one bottle, powdery, dry cocoa nuances from Dior Homme, a powdery rose opulence like Satin Mood (BP is not quite as sweet!) and even more melt from Thirty Three and Rose d'Arabie...fine streaks from each fragrance, so that it doesn't become overloaded and overly shrill-synthetic-screaming like Montale. A dark scent full of softness and warmth, yet BP has a slightly fresh surface. And PB has power too...over a week ago, I threw a tissue sprayed with BP into the trash can, and three days later, the trash can still smelled deliciously of oud-rose, despite a few unappetizing "side dishes"...I haven't experienced that before...maybe with Interlude once...
Nevertheless, this sensual and romantic evening scent still allows you to breathe, as it doesn't annoy with a one-dimensional rigid scent wall, but rather something new brushes against the nose from time to time. Although BP is a powerhouse, it doesn't overwhelm...but fragrances like those mentioned above, or similar scents like Eutopie 6 and Idole de Lubin EDP should be well-liked; green-fresh wood scent fans might want to steer clear or run screaming to the nearest water faucet! I stay seated and linger and enjoy...and if Rose d'Arabie should ever run out, I will definitely get this one for the fall...because no one needs more fragrance...and it unites many scents that I really like, all in one...and at a fair price!
Conclusion: a fantastic scent that doesn't offer a completely new fragrance experience, but can spontaneously excite me more than the highly praised Thirty Three; the longevity is, as mentioned, top-notch, 9 hours quite easily, the first 3-4 hours of which are quite strong, the rest of the time is anything but close to the skin, but also not a Montale blast! Clear recommendation to buy...even if now is not the ideal season for it, it should fit quite well on cool spring days or cool evenings...with cautious dosing!

What Roja can do, we can do for a long time....?
Mancera is Roja turned inside out. While Roja sells already known concepts slightly altered for ten times the price with Swarovski crystals, Mancera offers references to otherwise more expensive niche fragrances with a bit less glamour factor at average mainstream prices. Roja may refine the concepts; with Mancera, everything often seems more vibrant, as if one had cranked up the bass and treble on a synthesizer. Black Prestigium is different.

In the expectation of at least not being able to go too wrong, I generously sprayed Black Prestigium on myself this morning. In retrospect, it was as if all the rough facets of the fragrance stumbled over each other in seconds before everything unfolded. Rose, sweetness, freshness... then, oh God... a hint of hairspray?

It felt a bit bumpy at first, and that brief impression of hairspray made me fear the worst. But very quickly, everything settled, and BP became wonderfully rounded and harmonious. Here, I can see tiny parallels to Thirty Three, as my predecessor mentioned. If I were to visualize it, Thirty Three is like a radiant natural spectacle for me. Sunbeams reflecting in water, full of rich colors. With Black Prestigium, it feels as if one is viewing all this through dark sunglasses. Juicy-rosy, fresh, and sweet aspects; many of the beautiful aspects of Thirty Three are present at the beginning. Over this, there lies a matte, slightly powdery veil that diminishes the most radiant and sparkling aspects. However, this is not unpleasant, but simply wearable and a bit less spectacular. Shortly thereafter, any similarities fade away, and the rose reveals soapy accents, which I often find bothersome. However, here it does not go in an old-fashioned or feminine direction but rather brings a well-groomed cleanliness to an otherwise quite complex oriental, which fits wonderfully. It doesn’t take too long for Black Prestigium to develop for me, and with an astonishing cuddly factor, the base paves the way. A relatively delicate, vanillic amber with slight nuances of honey envelops the wonderful rose interpretation, making BP a very pleasant companion. However, I could imagine that the powdery accents of the amber, which become relatively dominant in the base, might also bother me over time. For Mancera standards, BP is surprisingly close to the skin and subtle, also compared to Thirty Three, it is more of a quiet presence. BP is still a fragrance with a strong sillage, but in relation, it seems quite socially acceptable to me and scores rather with longevity and versatile usability without drifting into boredom.

So, I must fundamentally agree with my predecessor. BP truly unites many great fragrance aspects, and it feels very harmonious and skillful. It could never replace Thirty Three for me; it is less bright, radiant, and presents itself as a completely different fragrance with only briefly slightly similar nuances. I am still not sure if the powdery-resinous accents of the ambratic base will bring me joy with frequent use. However, if BP also overcomes this hurdle, it would be a relatively versatile fragrance that, in my opinion, could definitely compete in the class of some significantly more expensive niche fragrances.

I stink - therefore I am!
Not another rose-oud combo from Mancera or Montale… Of course, that was my first thought. And shortly after: what… the… luckily, another rose-oud combo from Mancera!

On paper, its recipe for success is quite simple and exactly to my taste. You combine an extremely high-quality rose-oud bouquet, mostly leave out the Mancera/Montale hairspray aesthetic, and - very, very, very important! - mix in a hefty portion of white, creamy lipstick iris à la “Dior Homme Intense” or Guerlain’s “Iris Ganache.” And there you have it, a monster before my personal gentlemen! Creamy, light chocolate meets the usual oriental killer combo, where I really wouldn’t have believed that one of its reincarnations could flash me like this again. But “Black Prestigium” does it! A true Night Driving Avenger. Deep black and powerful. Light purple lights on. Minimal leather vibes. Never boring, always classy. Plays three leagues above its price. Oud perfectly balanced. A scent that thumps and has bass! It makes your mouth water - and not because I have allergies at this time of year! A powerhouse prowler. Always sultry, slightly dirty, just the right amount of not washed for a while. Incredibly sexy. A perfume like a synthwave slasher! At the very beginning, it’s minimally piercing and the Mancera synthetic notes don’t completely disappear even here - but that’s really brief and gives only marginal deductions. It shouldn’t be too round and soft anyway. Otherwise: hit exactly my G(eschmacks)-point! He's a Maniac. Maaniac. Maaaniac!

Bottle: I don’t even mind this (always the same) bottle for this scent…
Sillage: just before being overbearing - but it knows exactly when to stop…
Longevity: >10 hours is already nice

Conclusion: I’ll keep it short and sweet: this is the best scent Mancera has ever released for me. And it’s a rose-oud combo! Holy moly! But indeed (by far) not just that. Mancera Homme Eternal. “Black Prestigium” plays in my personal top tier!

Piercing Floral Monster
The scent is very piercing/floral/spicy/slightly citrusy. For being floral, it has a really decent longevity and sillage to show for it. It remains perceptible for about 10h+, slightly changing in the first half hour, but then stays consistent, which is not a bad thing since the fragrance really does smell good. However, due to its strength, I would recommend being sparing with the sprays. Less is more here.
The bottle is beautifully designed. Only the screw cap confuses me from time to time ^^

All in all, a good fragrance :)

Black prestigium, wild cherry mancera and black perfecto guerlain are like I wear the same perfume. Same sweet dark fruity-floral smell.

For me it's a Black Aoud with iris and little vanilla. Not as heavy as Black Aoud, easier to like. I don't really smell any DHP similarities

Initially the opening is quite nice. Later, the floral notes become way too dominant for my liking and are very unpleasant.

Trinity of powdery iris, oud, and rose. My nose doesn't pick up anything more here. Wear it, yes; buy it, no.

Starts as an elegant rose-oud, with subtle leather facets.
Peels into a sweet, resinous WOOD.
Skillfully shifts between natural/synthetic.

A warm, woody oriental with a delicate hint of flowers, everything is cohesive and harmoniously balanced.

You can really taste the iris on cedar with patch. GREAT. Unfortunately too much lemon + plastic rose, the oud could be dirtier, so it gets scrubbed down with musk soap, WHAT A SHAME!

A real insider tip. It has a wonderful scent development on my skin. If it had a different brand name, it would be much more expensive.

The beginning is a bit off-putting, but it gets much better afterwards!
Overall, it's a rather unremarkable mix of rose, oud, and patch.

At first, I mostly noticed a woody, dusty, dry iris in a good way. Later, a sweet rose emerges in patchouli, *
