Underrated summer mancera
I don't quite understand the relatively poor reviews.
Nice aquatics with a light, fresh rose around it and in the middle musk with slightly ambery accents. A little feminine for me in the opening but perfectly unisex in the drydown.
Not too synthetic by Mancera's standards either, at least it doesn't come across that way.
Atomizer is great.

Full on the head ;)
Hi everyone,

i would like to say a few words about Aqua Wood today.

I actually became aware of the fragrance through YT.
I then bought a sample in the souk. When I sprayed the fragrance on and it could settle, I recognized the lemon with my nose at the beginning, but very clearly the pear. I really liked the pear. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes more floral. After that, the AW turns out to be an indefinable composition (sweetish, floral, inexpressive) of fragrance components. I could no longer recognize a red trail. At this point, I also found the perfume to be more of a headache candidate.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the longevity and sillage at 6-7. If you like the fragrance, you can wear it in spring, summer and fall. It can actually be worn on any occasion. But I wouldn't wear it for going out or in the office.

Thank you for your attention and see you very soon ;)

Super Summer Daily
I was allowed to test the Aqua Wood today and, based on the mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. My first impression was that this aquatic note seemed very familiar to me. After a short time, I was reminded of Yaringa. To give you a clue, I would say that the Aqua Wood is close to the drydown of the Yaringa, but a little more citrusy and spicy/woody.

I agree with the other reviews: It's not compellingly special, it has to be said clearly. Nevertheless, in my eyes a really nice fragrance for the summer. I think it also goes very well in the office.

The price is absolutely fine, which certainly has a positive influence on my general assessment and perception. To be honest, on the other hand, I have to admit that I would probably like it less if it wasn't "relatively" cheap.

All-in-All is a great summer fragrance that I think you can wear all the time. The aquatic note doesn't necessarily make it a classic freshie, but the fresh, citrusy note partly takes on this role. The spicy woody note rounds off the overall picture nicely and makes it much more masculine.

He's got potential!
For me, this is one of the Mancera fragrances that totally won me over. Which may have been because I had little to no expectations for it. But for me, I've also found that Mancera is one of those perfume companies where looking at the fragrance pyramid confuses me more than it helps me. Except for Lemon Line and Cedrat Boise, I was actually expecting something different most of the time, but with this one I was sure what was coming. "Aqua Wood" is probably going to be another fresh, aquatic, woody scent that stays with me for 2-3 hours and then fades away. Puff! Something else again... Whoozaaaa...

It starts off very fresh. But not with aquatic freshness but with juicy, tangy citrus and a hint of pear, which is in no way inferior to the citrus in terms of juiciness. This is definitely different from the other summer "aqua" scents I've tested so far. Then in the background a very slight gingery spiciness (?) settles in and makes the whole thing even more interesting. Does not bother me at all, because the sharpness with the sweetness keeps the balance.
After that, the fragrance becomes more floral. The rose, which is rather earthy in type and is supported by the patchouli, does a good job here. This fits for my taste like a fist on the eye. At that point (after 2-3 hours) you get the impression that it's already fading and will disappear completely, but that's not the case. He lets up a little, but with the use of the other notes, he gets it all out of him again and actually becomes a little heavier than before and suddenly develops into a noble everyday fragrance that can be worn not only on hot summer days. Amazing somehow.

In the end, you have so 5-6 hours of pleasure in it and in the beginning he also makes quite attentive. For me, the fragrance has potential times to become my signature fragrance, because it is so multi-faceted. It's fresh, fruity, floral, woody and earthy, which is pretty much everything I like in perfumes. Mancera put it all in a bottle once and et voila! Out came a surprisingly good Aqua Wood, which will definitely go into my collection.

sweet pear cider with below average performance. Perfectly unisex and definetly no standout scent. The bottle however is stunning

One of my absolute favourites. I can't particularly pick out specific notes, but it's fruity yet not too sweet, a little creamy and very smooth

It's got a slight citrus, but the base smell reminds me of a good smelling office. It's not great.
