"Rice Krispy Treats" -My Friend
I was wearing this today when I was hanging out with one of my friends and according to him this on top of Palmer's cocoa butter smells like when his mom makes Rice Krispy Treats (except apparently his family uses Cheerios instead of Rice Krispies). When you make them you start with a sort of cement by microwaving butter, marshmallows, and sugar together, then combining that with the cereal. To me this perfume just smells like a very sweet coconut, with cocoa butter it smells like very sweet coconut and cocoa but to my friend the combo smells like the cement. My grandpa makes traditional Rice Krispy Treats for the holidays so I told him about the Cheerios and maybe he'll want to give that a shot because I'm definitely intrigued.

Only for hardcore coconut enjoyers
This smells like coconut, vanilla and not much else. Very one-dimensional and extremely sticky-sweet. On the plus side, the "nectar" descriptor in the name describes the texture quite well - at least in the opening this is a lush, non-dry coconut that feels too sweet to be coconut water, but not thick enough to be coconut milk. Then it has a short phase of dry coconut flakes and ultimately dries down to something more creamy and vanillic.
It reminds me a bit of the infamous Yves Rocher coconut from the 90s, which I don't remember fondly. Honestly, I generally like coconut and gourmands, but this slaps you in the face with its artificial sweetness. I'm not a fan at all.

I bought a Pacifica sample set on my holidays in the USA this spring, so I'm sure tried the version that is in the new bottle. Even though Parfumo lists this as a new perfume at the moment, I'm pretty sure they just added some notes for marketing reasons and a more accurate description and didn't change the scents drastically. All samples I tried smell just like the reviews for the older bottles say.
In this case I think the new notes make the fragrance sound more exciting than it is.
