A great scent for anyone starting a collection

I get a ton of fresh lime off the top of this, but not a lot of the grapefruit note. The dry down is a very pleasant, if almost basic, woody note that makes this a great "running errands" fragrance. It only lasts about 3-4 hours, so you can swap out for something else later in the day or reapply if you're in the mood.

The fact that you can find it so cheap makes it a great introductory fragrance or one to just grab if you see it for a good price.

Big Pony Collection - 1 (for men) by Ralph Lauren

Reminiscent of a cleaning solution. It also reminds me of some sort of fruity candy. It smells slightly synthetic, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in this case because it works. I’m not sure if Ralph Lauren Fragrances intended to create a natural citrus scent and failed, or if the fragrance is supposed to smell artificial. Nevertheless, it smells fresh instead of sterile. How it smells isn’t my favorite, but it’s not bad by any means. What really leaves something to be desired is its performance… it barely lasts 3 hours. It is an intimate fragrance. Easy to become nose blind to. I only wear it if I want to wear something for the sake of wearing something, especially if it is short-living; its performance doesn’t bother me since I have this specific use for it. The atomizer sucks, so you have to over-overspray for it to be noticeable by yourself and, if you’re lucky, others. I bought my 3.4 oz bottle at T.J.Maxx blindly for $19.99. I wouldn’t have bought it if it was any more expensive.

Well. I buy the fragrance when it's new and bought it back recently. Somehow the scent is boring and nothing that has to be in a man's collection. I've already smelled scents that are worse, but there are also much better ones. This freshness is monotonous, boring and only moderately long. The lemon is rather artificial with a strange smell of beige. Well. You can't win a flowerpot with this scent

Unknown, yet boring.

I'm usually tempted by the unknown. I'm almost addicted to exploring foreign things.

I'm new to the world of fragrance, and I've never smelled anything like Big Pony Collection 1 before. But... somehow... eh.

We all know these meaningless scents, uniform porridge.
But in that case, I'd rather smell a scent like that than a lime in alcohol.

Since the fragrance is so much so simple, you can't hate it much, but you can't like it much either. I'd accept it if my opposite wears it. Maybe even recognize it because of my neutral-negative experience.

The bottle is really nice and looks great when light falls on it... otherwise.

Ride towards the sunset, far away from me my four-legged friend!
