The peach and Melba vanilla sundae
A wonderful fragrance with an unfortunately rather restrained sillage. Once again, as with so many Roja women's fragrances. However, this also makes the fragrance versatile. For an occasion where you want to smell great but not attract negative attention, such as in the office. Or at the first meeting with the parents-in-law or other family occasions.
Not an offensive seducer, but rather a sweet and cheerful flatterer with a certain depth at its base.
The most dominant fragrance note here is peach. A velvety powder peach embedded in a soft, citrusy floral bouquet. Something dark and seductive lurks underneath. Delicately interwoven, dark, real vanilla pod dots. Add musk, which becomes slightly dirty together with amber. Patch and sandalwood are very restrained here. This base is super attractive.
When the citrusy opening has subsided, an authentic-looking scraped vanilla pod emerges. Everything is now deliciously sweet and creamy, a bit like a tub of peach and melba cream ice cream. An all-round good, successful fragrance with a clear progression that develops beautifully.
The fruity peach reminds me of Cassili from Parfum de Marly. The only difference is that Cassili has a much stronger performance, both in terms of sillage and longevity.
Hugo Boss The Scent would also come to mind, but it seems less complex. I haven't actually come across anything comparable to Enigma, apart from the various concentrations of Enigma offered by Roja. If you like floral peach-cream-vanilla ice cream and are looking for a calm, unagitated but modern fragrance of good quality, you might want to give it a try. I like it very much overall.
