The key
I've titled this review "The key" as I believe this review will aptly summarize what "Newcleus | XerJoff" is and how all of its weaknesses are displayed.

Accords: sweet-creamy-floral-synthetic

"Newcleus | XerJoff" is a feminine fragrance that mostly smells of sweet rose and moderate tropical fruity nuances in the top. That is to say that I am getting something between products like Peregrina and Mango Aoud. In terms of notes, what you'll mainly be smelling is the white musk and vanilla bring contrasted against the rose and milk note with the feeling of tropical fruitiness being mixed in, say an unlisted lychee or mango note.

Issue #1: Blending - "Newcleus | XerJoff" features Xerjoff's white musks, bringing a lot of overlap from both their recent products ("White on White | XerJoff") and their older catalogue ("Apollonia | XerJoff" and "Erba Pura | XerJoff"). The product isn't the most screechy, but it doesn't nail the blending overall either.

Issue #2: Performance - Xerjoff launched this fragrance right as the alcohol-free formulation topic started to get some buzz with mainstream brands like Dior and Guerlain entering the arena. However, that appears to be nothing more than a marketing gimmick for religious audiences as performance, a key aspect demanded by Western consumers, is completely missing with this product. Sillage is intimate from minute 5, at best minute 10; and the longevity is strictly driven by the musks used in the base, I would assess it to have around 4 hours of longevity.

Issue #3: Value - Xerjoff launched this fragrance for €290/50ml, a price point significantly higher than the various competing brands I've listed (Thameen, Gritti) or that this scent is being compared to (Montale, Kayali).

All that is to say that there is no reasonable explanation for why anybody should be buying this product. Xerjoff is gambling away their reputation with these post-COVID launches, essentially throwing a lot of darts at a board with nothing sticking.

Very, very difficult...
Hello everyone,

today I am writing a rather "not recommendable" review about a fragrance called "Newcleus | XerJoff" and somehow it hurts my heart. Because I am an XJ friend of "YESTERDAY (old batches)" and when I sometimes see today's like the "Newcleus | XerJoff" .... = difficult
______________________

About the fragrance:

What do we have here = we have a milky and very rose dominated fragrance with a creamy and fluffy musk and a certain sweetness through the vanilla and caramel.

By the way, it was made "WITHOUT" alcohol and yes..., for some this is very important and nice..., but I don't care... relatively indifferent^^

I see it much more on women than on men. It's like rose water with body lotion = a curious vibe anyway.

As difficult as this statement may be for me..., XJ nice try, but that was nothing.

Performance?

Ever missing or hardly available...

The dear money / the purchase price:

I am PITY to talk about whether a purchase makes sense or not, in this respect it is very relative and my views may not be like yours and vice versa... . From a purely commercial point of view (which I am, among other things) I can say = test it, then we'll see!
But recommend = honestly NO!

And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

Like a rose-scented lotion...
The Newcleus is alcohol-free, but unlike the Sauvage Eau Forte, which is also alcohol-free, or the soft perfumes from Sabe Masson. It is not a milky spray mist, but a rather viscous, oily gel-like mass. You can't spray it, it's more like a blob to rub on, like a lotion. In this case, it's a delicately rose-scented lotion, very close to the body, as far as you can tell.

Synthetic rose fragrance without alcohol and sugar
The visit to the perfumery today started promisingly.
In my search for new and unknown fragrance compositions, I was introduced to Newcleus by Xerjoff, a fragrance based on an alcohol-free formula.
A new Xerjoff called Newcleus, a clever play on words.
The fragrance pyramid sounds just as promising and the bottle is of course beautiful, as always with Xerjoff.
Well then, spray it on your skin right away, it can only be good...! I sniffed my wrist eagerly, hoping for a fragrance like Peregrina and almost sneezed.
The opening is extremely green, fresh and floral, or rather rosy. The rose is not soft and gentle, but pungent and beguiling. I can still smell something fruity, although no fruity notes are listed in the fragrance pyramid.
The fragrance seems very synthetic and I wait in vain for milk and caramel.
The rose is actually the star of "Newcleus | XerJoff", but it's the kind of rose that I don't like. I find it difficult to explain this. I actually like many rose fragrances, e.g. Atomic Rose Eau de Parfum Peregrina Delina Eau de Parfum For Her Musc Noir Rose Rose Pompon Eau de Parfum Rose Rose Gourmand Women. But this rose is pungent and synthetic and gets on my nerves relatively quickly.
Vanilla and sandalwood are also a long time coming. Instead of a gourmand sweetness based on vanilla and caramel, an artificial sweetness develops. After a while, the sweet rose is joined by an equally synthetic musk, which gives the rose a long life.
On my skin, "Newcleus | XerJoff" lasts quite well, I noticed it for about 7 - 8 hours.
Conclusion: Vegan, sugar-free, alcohol-free rose. Unfortunately, Newcleus doesn't match my idea of a sophisticated rose fragrance, but I didn't have to wash it off.

What a weird consistency coming out of the sprayer.. it’s nothing more than an ultra expensive body cream.

Rose & tropical fruitiness (lychee?) over white musk & vanilla, i.e. structure overlap with "White on White". Performs BADLY.

Good grief. Sure, new concept but: revolting consistency (sic!), cheap smell, almost nauseating. That can't be the future. Better not.

It's a flop, from a gooey consistency to a smothering but boring rose-vanilla-musk scent and mediocre longevity
