Great fragrance

I tried the Special Edition bottle one, and all i can say is smooth and powdery. Cockatiel s. ed. it’s a very creamy and true buttery fragrance with hints of rhubarb dipped in proseco. Imagine you are at a high class restaurant and you are eating butter biscuits with rhubarb aroma and drinking a glass of champagne.
Very nice and appealing for a zoologist fragrance.
I would not buy in this moment considering the rest of the fragrances that are more interesting. Is it worth the money? Yes and no.
It is worth it if you already have other interesting zoologist like Tiger, Squid, t-rex, civet, dodo…etc.
But as your first zoologist it is not worth it considering there are other choices from this wonderful house.

Not a fan of the realism here

I don't know what it is about this one but it made me want to gag, which very rarely happens to me when sampling perfumes. All the notes are ones that I'm usually fine with individually but something about the mixture here is repulsive to me. The powder feels suffocating. The vanilla smells like a bottle of extract that has long ago expired. Wearing this gave me the sensation of being trapped.

I love this !!!!!! So far I’ve sampled most of the Zoologist line and while I agree that most of them are difficult to wear casually, I feel like this one isn’t thaaaaat hard to wear. The opening is a bit harsh but it disappears within less than a minute for me. What I mainly detect from this perfume is smoky sweet raspberry, vanilla, and powder. This powder in here does not come off as makeup powder, thank god!! It leans very feminine to me and very sweet. I love the sweetness and berry nature of this perfume

Scent of a Cockatiel

This really does remind me of being around birds at a pet store. There is a fruity, powdery scent that seems very familiar to the bird food and feather dust.

Interesting for sure but I’m not sure it’s something I will wear often. The bottle is absolutely beautiful.

For me this is a playful and casual fragrance. Feminine leaning. Wear when you want people to scratch their heads when you walk by them.
