spicy-woody or aromatic-woody???

A very piquantly aromatic perfume. And I just can’t understand it looking at the Fragrance Pyramid presented here and everywhere, is repeated by all reviewers of this perfume.
Nobody here smell a sage in the aroma composition?
I would not say that this is a spicy-woody perfume, but rather an aromatic-woody.

Este perfume es algo bastante extraordinario!! Amor a primera olida. Tiene esa salida bien marina con su toque de pimienta que le dan personalidad bastante masculina y a medida que va secando va tornandose jabonoso hasta que sale ese Sándalo Ambarado y bien cremoso que hace que no te aburras de olerlo. Es de locos!!!
Proyecta bastante duro y si abusas de el puedes llegar a inundar la habitación ya que es bastante prominente la salida. Yo le recomiendo esta fragancia a toda persona que le guste los perfumes con personalidad y que llamen la atención porque así lo conocí. Espectacular para un clima calido pero no de mas de 35° porque con la pimienta que lleva se hace bastante caliente!

Davy Jones' Locker Haunting You

The atmosphere of an ancient ghost ship. Heavy, inky, bitter air. Old wooden planks covered in seaweed and minerals. Metal objects long untouched, all within a salty, deep oceanic background.

This is what Wajood smells like to me. A dark, niche fragrance that could pass as an aquatic flanker of Encre Noire. Lasts for a long time and projects well. It is hard to recommend it for any occasion. Wear it at your own risk.

Smells like the Beach from Kojima's Death Stranding

Wajood is a dark woody-spicy-aquatic fragrance playing in the same ballpark as Kenzo Homme EDP and Oud Minerale by Tom Ford. I would say it’s on par with the Kenzo in terms of quality but in a different league compared to how smoothly TF managed to balance the woody-mineralic-salty-algae trope. Solid 3.5/5 from me and a worthy contender in this category of fragrances. If you own any of the other two, this one is redundant.

My Pride Line Journey - Lattafa Wajood - The spicy unknown man!

Lattafa - I simply love this fragrance house!

They are not only world champions in producing very good scent copies of hyped fragrances, which often turn out to be even better than the original, but they also consistently impress with their own creations that create a wonderful symbiosis between the Orient and the Occident.

Moreover, many of their fragrances are packaged very elegantly and high-quality, in boxes, cases, or tins, making the unboxing a pleasure in itself.
You can really feel Lattafa's love and passion for fragrances.
The low price is hardly justifiable for the quality you receive.

I finally took the plunge with Lattafa's Pride Line and simply ordered a few fragrances that I thought I might like based on their notes, blind.
I’m happy to share my reviews with you, as it may help some fragrance newcomers to dive into the wonderful world of Arabic perfumes and, above all, to get a quicker overview.

Let’s start today with Lattafa Wajood:
Peppered high-quality, light leather, nestled on bone-dry, dominant sandalwood.
The whole thing is 100% masculine, seductive, sexy, and minimally fresh.
However, I can’t smell any maritime note, as one would typically expect.
Wajood is a bone-dry, spicy Oriental that flatters even Western noses and possesses a very high-quality, niche-like aura.

I find Wajood to be a real hit! Quality 1A, long-lasting, and perfect for dates or as an everyday companion in the office.
Wearable year-round by established men or those who aspire to be one.
The sillage is initially strong, almost room-filling.
Longevity: solid 9-10 hours.

Compliments don’t take long to come. I was asked about the fragrance several times this week.
Probably because you don’t smell a fragrance like this on every corner, and it stands out positively.

Wajood is still flying under the radar at the moment, but I am very sure that this fragrance deserves to be discovered and worn.
So far, it’s probably the best blind buy of the year for me!
