Aptly-named dry chocolate cookie, not overbearingly sweet
Choco Biscotti is a Dua original creation from 2022, well-named for its mix of the cookie with hints of chocolate, a little bready to foster the right texture while not being too sweet nor specifically too chocolate-dominant. Dry chocolate, a bit of the bitter anise of biscotti vaguely in the background, and a bready cookie, nicely put together. I liken this to Café de Dua (not 2.0, but the original), which too involves an assembly of different bakery scents, involving more coffee, though, than Choco Biscotti. It’s not among my very favorite gourmands from the house, and I’m not sure I ever prefer it to Café de Dua, but it’s absolutely worth checking out, especially for gourmand fans.
