I love this one!

I’ve never owned a pre-reformulation bottle of Le Male, and I love the scent, so when I saw this one available, I rushed to grab a bottle of it.

My oh my am I happy I did… this one IS the Le Male scent, but 15x stronger in projection, and 10x the longevity. My oh my. Such a deep and dark resonance of a sillage trail it leaves behind… again, I’ve never owned the pre-reformulated version, but this one adds a darkness and depth to the current formula, resonating and projecting like a beast…

The only thing I would improve is the size of the bottle… only 30ml… if I could get 100ml I would be in heaven.

It's Raining Men - Flashback anoMâle

The blast from the past

What a time it was! Just turned 18. Got my driver's license. Saved a bit as an apprentice and bought a Fiat Uno. And the world was my oyster. Well, almost. As a teenager, you don't have much cash. It's been over 23 years since I bought Le Male with my hard-earned money. That was pretty much my only perfume back then, if I remember correctly.

I don't want to beat around the bush. I can't describe scents and notes and nuances, and I'm certainly no poet. As DUA says, if you know you know. Anyone who knows the Le Male from back then will find it again in the DUA. Error 404 quickly throws me back to that time. I bought another Le Male around 2010, which I still have today. And even that one smells quite different. Possibly also because it has partially gone off. I don't know how Le Male smells today.

Actually, I'm not a fan of scents from long-gone times. You can smell (in my case) the 90s, and that often feels outdated in modern times. But this Le Male clone can still be worn easily today.
