Aptly-named, delectable vanilla gourmand with tart citrus
Tartness of Vanilla is a Dua original creation from late 2020 that’s well-named and right to the point, a vanilla fragrance with some tart citruses in the mix, more than half vanilla, less than half citrus, with realistic impressions of both aspects. It’s sweet but not too sweet, tart but not too tart, with some light floral and powdery hints in the background as well, with Dua’s signature strong performance and a reasonable value, $65 for 30ml but often with discounts of at least 15%.
My all-time favorite Dua remains Vanilla Lemon Gelato, and while Tartness of Vanilla seems like a conceptually similar mix of vanilla and citruses, it’s markedly difference from VLG, which itself is more of a mix of bright lemon (less tart) and ice cream, and of course I recommend trying them both.
