After trying some disappointing niche scents again, back to
Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum The more other scents I smell, the more I appreciate this beauty.

Working through the Lattafa Pride gift box/discovery set, today I'm trying
Natural Oud . The second I sprayed it, my fiancé got a headache, so I'm self-exiling to the bedroom.
I know my fiancé is sensitive to smells, but he's been fine with everything else I've worn (which, to date, is
Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold ,
Tharwah Silver (both from the same set),
Exquisite Leather , and the venerable
Ombré Leather Parfum that I have sampled but not yet purchased). In all of those cases, his reactions have been neutral to positive, and he's only smelled them close. For
Natural Oud , he complained as soon as I sprayed it on my wrist in another room.
I'm debating washing it off, for his sake. I've already oversteeped my tea (which also has roses, for flavour) while waiting in the bedroom for the perfume to settle, as my tea was on the kitchen counter in the living area.
I guess today is a burnt rose kind of day.
Rhinoceros (2020). I seem to really vibe with Zoologist thus far. They get me.
Absolu Aventus Can’t get enough of this masterpiece

I've been experimenting more with layering and I'm really enjoying today's combination:
Honey I Washed the Kids Body Spray (soap, not body spray), followed by
Patchouli on my pulse points. Then I walked through a few sprays of
Bee. It's witchy and earthy and sweet without being cloying.
Testing
Moth today. I understand why it is this way, it makes sense, but it also smells like hostile architecture for insects. Makes me sad ![]()
