As perfumes are so much cheaper and more easily available here in UK than in my home country Finland, my current Scotland trip seems to be going totally out of hand what comes to my fragrance purchases 🤣 So I've got a bunch of new stuff again.
I got a sample of Le Chèvrefeuille from dear @Chrysoptera this spring and tested it just recently. I didn't expect too much based on the notes but to my own surprise I fell head over heels in love with it! I have been looking for a wild flower meadow type scent for a long time, something that would remind me of discontinued Yves Rocher sulphate free cream shampoo smell which I absolutely adored, and seems that Le Chèvrefeuille is exactly the one to be close enough! The brand is not widely available in Finland but I luckily found a good UK deal and decided to order immediately. It was also great that I got the "old style" Annick Goutal bottle instead of the newer one because I prefer the old design. 🙏
I was also happy to find out that At the Beach and
Sweet Tooth Me Espresso Eau de Parfum are available here, I never managed to find them in Finland so ordered them too. I also got a massive gift set of
CK One Essence with the same price that I would have got only a small bottle in Finland.
For upcoming Halloween season I managed to get a bottle of Vanilla Pumpkin, I adored the body care line but the body spray was never available in my country. I got also brand new
Pumpkin Spice Latte body spray and hand cream with the same fragrance.
Currently I'm also waiting excited my Middleshade order to arrive - what a wonderful Scottish indie house of handmade local perfumes! I ordered Scottish Lavender for my mum as a gift for her upcoming birthday in September as lavender is her favourite note and this fragrance contains 7 different types of lavender grown and hand picked and distilled locally here at a Scottish farm, and for myself I ordered very interesting sounding
Doric Oud that's supposed to smell like ancient Scottish forests and tweed fabric.
