Refreshing jasmine tea and tart green apples

Light Blue Capri in Love is a fragrance I will need to try again as I sampled it in a Sephora, on the back of my hand, while I went about during the weekend. I wasn't expecting much, but I was truly blown away by the scent and its freshness, perfect for warm weather (also it's a tea fragrance which I'm always a fan of).

It starts with a fresh, light scent of jasmine tea: subtle sweetness and floral aspect. Doesn't take long before the apple note appears: it's tart, but fruity sweet, almost citrusy in its facet. I can't say I've smelled longoza, so I can't really say how it developed in the fragrance. This is why I need to smell it again (and will update my review when I do) as I wasn't really paying attention to the drydown as I went about my day. I do have to say that the first few minutes of the fragrance were sufficiently enjoyable for me to want to pay better attention next time. No toilet cleaner vibe which is something that seems to be coming up in the Light Blue line frow other reviewers which is a good thing!

To be tested again!

No Thank You Mary Keep Ur Capri Vacation

On the sample packaging it states that this is a spicy floral perfume. I am not sure what longoza is but after wearing it for over 5 hours it seems that that is what is overpowering this fragrance. It has smelled like this one note the whole time I have worn it. Incredibly strong when first applied, and feels very one note after the first two hours. I don't think I picked up on the floral or jasmine tea notes on my skin but I did pick up on the green apple which can sometimes smell a bit too green on me. Defintely gave me a headache this was not the fragrance for me. Smells a bit bubbly maybe like a sprite or champagne idk! Also too much alcohol smh

Tea and citrus

This is a beautifully simple tea and citrus scent. I have never smelled a longoza so I could not tell you if this shows up here or not. The scent is surprisingly powerful, one spritz in the crook of my elbow wafted around me nicely. I really enjoyed catching it on the breeze for my afternoon run. It reminds me a lot of Korres White Tea, but with more lemon. Korres White Tea has a little more character and is much cheaper

Fleeting Capri vacation

This fragrance is not called "in love" for nothing. Yes! Because I'm really seriously IN LOVE with this new fragrance.

To start with, it smells incredibly fresh, like freshly brewed, cooled white tea. Quite subtle and relatively sweet.
Then a slightly fruity note of a green apple joins in. Not sour - not sweet, but rather fresh, unripe. Slight citrus. (Like in the light Blue OG)

I didn't immediately smell that this was an apple. I actually had to look in here again to be able to classify it exactly. Someone wrote orange, so at first I had an orange in my head. But the fragrance doesn't smell like orange at all.
I couldn't smell the apple blindly now. I wouldn't describe it as super fruity either.
But rather as a perfect match with the tea. Subtle, light, equally unsweet.

But what I noticed positively: No toilet cleaner! (Yay) because unfortunately I always have the same problem with Light Blue, it smells like toilet cleaner to me. With this fragrance here, I briefly had the association, but after the first few minutes it was fortunately completely gone.

The scent is super linear and consistent. No surprises.

But then:
After about 20 minutes, a great woody fragrance comes through with the typical Light Blue DNA. Wonderful! Really - wonderful! For me, it goes in the unisex direction, but by no means spicy and masculine.

For me, the fragrance smells like summer, vacation, sunshine. Carefree, unsweet. That's exactly how I want to smell at 30 degrees+! I could inhale this fragrance. I'm really pleasantly surprised. Everything that bothers me about the original, this fragrance has done very well and better.

The wheel has not been reinvented with the new Light Blue range.
But significantly less toilet stone and more fresh / woody.

But that would all be too good to be true, wouldn't it?
Let's move on to the shelf life.

The shelf life is really subterranean. I'm normally someone who sprays very little. Two sprays are usually enough for me.

Here, 4-5 sprays were super clear. But after a good 30 minutes, the fragrance is close to the body. And gone shortly afterwards. Completely gone! Even if I rub the area with my hand and smell my fingers, it's almost gone.

That's why the fragrance reminds me of a body spray.

But D&G what kind of prices are these? If the longevity were better, it wouldn't be an issue. But just under 100 euros for 30 minutes?
Nope... no way with me!
Too bad.....
