My (former) signature scent!
To begin with, I would like to note that this is my first review and I am still very inexperienced in how to do this properly. Nevertheless, I will try to give you a brief insight into how this scent affects me.
Let’s start with the fragrance pyramid: The top note has this fresh and floral direction, with the rose being very prominent. The heart note that follows is simply magnificent. I can't say much bad about the base note either. I just couldn't detect the cedarwood. It's also difficult to pick up due to the strong amber-musk.
One must consider that this scent is very strong and you can still smell it even after more than 5 hours. The fragrance is not for everyone and can be quite overwhelming if you overapply it. Therefore, I recommend a maximum of 2 sprays - more is not necessary!
What does this scent remind me of?
Since I bought it during my stay in Dubai and it was highly recommended to me, it has this Arabic aspect. This is what Dubai smells like to me! Almost everyone there smells exactly like this.
Additionally, it also reminds me of a freshly cleaned hotel reception, as it has a very clean scent. The rosy aspect makes it floral and strongly reminds me of a flower meadow.
Overall, I will not wear this scent daily, as it is very special and does not fit into my everyday life. However, I will take the risk for special events - let’s see what my fellow humans will think of it.
Conclusion: It is a very special scent with an extraordinary DNA that not everyone will like. Not suitable for everyday life - unless you live in Dubai and want to smell Arabic. Nevertheless, I would recommend it and find it a very solid fragrance.
