Abre extremamente fresco, cítrico e aromático, com uma hortelã muito agradável. Remete imediatamente ao Imagination, mas rapidamente ganha o aspecto animálico do oud.

Nessa abertura, o oud natural fica em segundo plano, enquanto os cítricos são o destaque. É um oud de celeiro, coriáceo, seco e com um leve amargor.

Após a primeira meia hora, o corpo floral sedoso começa a se destacar.

Já no fim da secagem, depois de umas 5 horas, resta apenas o almíscar branco com um toque esverdeado.

Se não gosta de oud natural, nem chegue perto.

The opening starts off as utterly unspectacular, heading in the direction of a French Tobacco / Imagination.

You think to yourself : Is that it ? Where is the oud ?

A few minutes later, it surprisingly comes barging in. The profile of a harmless freshie completely transforms. If I had to describe it in the most superficial way possible, it would be a fresh oud fragrance.

The Imagination / French Tobacco framework has been turned into a top-tier niche fragrance. The oud is somewhat animalic, demanding and woody, with the perfect counterbalance: the citrus notes with ginger, which lighten up the fragrance. Through the fine-tuning of the renowned oud merchant, it gains incredible depth and finesse. For me, it is categorically not a direct summer fragrance, but primarily an all-year fragrance that works for every occasion.

I would tend to advise inexperienced noses against it, but experienced ones, go for it ! At last, after a very long time, a fragrance profile that was creative, from a label that dares to do something !
