Unisex fragrance

As we shower together before laying in the tub to soak, we ask each other what scent should we wear after. A newly bought scent is chosen, Bordeaux - Plaisir de la Nuit. Powerful but not over bearing. Sweet but not over done. A since of masculinity appears but a females sexual allure brings a man to his knees with desire. This is how this fragrance makes me feel

This Top Note..

Bordeaux from the French Collection is yet another wonderful fragrance from the house of Birkholz.
I can say it again and again..
..this house simply matches my taste and does something to me. It’s also nice when you’ve found your brand.

Bordeaux is a very fine scent that comes across as fresh, floral, and spicy at the same time.
It has a slight sweetness to it and don’t be afraid of the spiciness.
You won’t get a spice bazaar or anything like that here.

The fragrance starts wonderfully fresh, spicy, and slightly floral.
This top note is truly beautiful and is personally the best part of the progression for me. However, it’s not that the dry down isn’t nice as well. It is nice, but the top note is even better.

The bergamot harmonizes excellently with the cardamom and the apple. Floral hints are already recognizable and fit in perfectly.
The sage also comes through beautifully. Often, I find it difficult to recognize sage in some fragrances. That is not the case here.

As it progresses, it noticeably becomes warmer and "spicier".
The freshness from the bergamot and the apple recedes.
What a pity! I really liked that part. The floral facets continue to be well recognizable throughout the progression.

Towards the end, Bordeaux takes on slightly woody notes.
Additionally, the fragrance concludes with a mix of musk and also patchouli. I find that you can feel minimal earthy hints of the patchouli. However, these are strongly held in check by the other impressions, making them hardly recognizable.

The longevity on my skin is about 7-8 hours.
The projection is absolutely solid.
Bordeaux - Plaisir de la Nuit doesn’t roar, but it certainly doesn’t hide either. It is a pleasant companion for a large part of the day. Unisex wearable? Definitely!

... Bordeaux. In the evening, we threw a bowl before going to the Casino Barrière Bordeaux, and we decided to have a small bite at Le Bistro du Musée. I ordered a Bordeaux and for dinner an Entrecôte à la Bordelaise. It is super delicious. After we were full, we took a taxi to the casino and had a lot of fun and even won a few coins.

When applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is a fruity citrusy spicy scent. This is then enveloped by a green floral accord. I then perceive the scent of an old red wine barrel (sandalwood is listed in the fragrance pyramid), this barrel is dark, dry, and has a vanilla twist. The perfume is unisex with a slight lean towards the masculine.

I cannot explain this somewhat negative review for such a pleasing fragrance. Anyone who can should definitely give it a try.

The longevity and sillage are good.

Here we have a unisex fragrance that is slightly masculine but can still be worn effortlessly by women. I would say the starting age is around 25 and up. This fragrance is an all-rounder that can be worn all year round. During the day, it makes an elegant figure in a suit just as well as in casual clothing. In the evening, it is a perfect companion for a concert, the opera, the casino, a dinner with friends, or even a rendezvous.

Those who enjoy a fruity citrusy spicy green floral woody dark dry vanilla scent will feel very well accommodated here.
