No special fragrance, so I prefer to grumble about perfumes again!
So you dear snoopers, I greet you and welcome you to another comment from me. Today it is about the brand Boadicea, where I am never sure how well known this brand is to the average snoop. Maybe they don't even know many perfumes and fragrances yet, I don't know. I myself have never seen the brand in a store and I only know Boadicea because of you, because you send me samples from time to time, so that I can describe all kinds of things here, because I am supposed to write such great and funny comments... which of course nobody reads... yes, it's really like that. If I really try hard, with days of research, only three people read it...
If instead I complain about my single life, or bitch about beastly perfumes, then everyone reads it, just because they want to collect "proofs" to be able to list reasons which justify to tear my head off... you are stupid ey! :D
Hey hey, all right. Back to the smell. Today, it's Pure, not to be confused with Pure Narcotic, which is a completely different (and, according to reviews, more beautiful) scent from Boadicea. Anyway, Pure is supposed to be a fresh scent, so let's see if it fits well to these hot days, even if I'm a bit sceptical because of the oakmoss that is listed here in the fragrance pyramid, but as always, it can be a matter of taste (on the other hand... I certainly have a good taste, and you don't and yes... that used to be an arrogant saying, I think, after more than 1500 comments I can at least allow myself such a saying for fun, after all it's diversified, isn't it? Well, then I won't, then I'll grumble about perfumes as usual, but you had the chance that I'll never do that again and write something else... well... bad luck, now I only grumble about ladies! :DDD Phew it's soo hot man, my stupid mode for lyrics goes on and on, I better get to the scent description!
The nail polish gradually turns out to be oakmoss, as it now slowly takes shape and can therefore be sniffed. The sweetness of the scent also gradually increases over time, and I would now say that most of this sweetness comes from jasmine, although there does seem to be some amber in it.
The oakmoss becomes more intense over time, giving the fragrance a kind of oldschool touch.
From now on, somehow not much changes, because in the end you still smell the oakmoss, now a little less intense, in addition there are woody scents and an indeterminable sweetness, which should be the rest of the amber. Naaaja,... the scent is now just "okay" for me...
The bottle! The most striking feature of this round bottle is the front label, or actually rather the metal badge, which is decorated with Celtic runic symbols and the whole bottle looks correspondingly elaborate and great. On the back is a label with the fragrance name. The lid is solid, chrome-plated and also bears the Celtic decorations. A very beautiful flacon!
And this scent doesn't really seem fresh to me either. It's not heavy either, but it's not a pure summer scent, but rather an allrounder suitable for every season, usable as a "simple" day scent, at work or similar. According to some descriptions the fragrance should radiate a little luxury, but this is not so and apart from that you can find something like this in many manufacturers' fragrance descriptions...
Anyway, as I said, the fragrance didn't knock me off my feet, but for people who like oakmoss and like to smell subtle floral and amber scents, it might be worth a look.
Okay, that's it again. Hmm... like I wrote in the beginning, maybe I wrote a lot of nonsense in the beginning today. But it's so hot, I don't always get it right! :D And it will stay pretty hot for a few more days, which means that I could write a lot more nonsense and nonsense in the upcoming comments, so be prepared for something, mu ha ha ha ha. Oh yes, of course I still wish you all a nice evening as always, see you :D

The smell:
The scent starts with, uh, nail polish? The cloud of scent, which rises when spraying, reminds me of nail polish for a short time! Only after a short while I can recognize citric scents like lemon or lime as well as a slight sweetness of (still) indeterminable fruits and white flowers. The nail polish gradually turns out to be oakmoss, as it now slowly takes shape and can therefore be sniffed. The sweetness of the scent also gradually increases over time, and I would now say that most of this sweetness comes from jasmine, although there does seem to be some amber in it.

The Sillage and the durability:
The Sillage is rather below average to weak, because it does not radiate so strongly and could therefore only be perceived a little bit from close by. It is just a "light" summer scent. The shelf life is also a simple average of six hours. The bottle! The most striking feature of this round bottle is the front label, or actually rather the metal badge, which is decorated with Celtic runic symbols and the whole bottle looks correspondingly elaborate and great. Conclusion:
There. Now, that smell really didn't knock me out. I don't find it bad, in the sense of repulsive, but for me it is a little boring and unspectacular. Maybe that's partly because of certain expectations when you pick up a bottle of such beauty (or in this case the sample spray :D) and expect a great scent, but also because I'm not exactly an oakmoss fan and this scent offers a lot of this scent. With barbarshop-like scents I still find oakmoss okay, but even there I don't necessarily have to have such scents. And this scent doesn't really seem fresh to me either. It's not heavy either, but it's not a pure summer scent, but rather an allrounder suitable for every season, usable as a "simple" day scent, at work or similar.
