At first almost too much, but becomes more approachable

Here the name says it all!
Bronze Tonka sounds dark and warm to me. And I would describe the scent just like that.
Intense opening, I can't describe it any other way. A lot of tonka and oud, almost overwhelming. - But only almost.
This mega cloud surrounds you for about an hour, then it slowly fades and becomes wearable for everyone. I mean that it loses that overwhelming performance that some might find too much.
Now it's a pleasant tonka scent, but I've had better, and therefore I won't be buying it. However, it's a nice fragrance that I can recommend. HS are okay.

Is he too bronze, are you too pale.

In short: the scent is extremely great.
Yesterday for a concert (guys, it’s so crazy how after these one and a half years slowly...) and it still sits very present, noticeable and confidently on the clothing today.
So the longevity is super, the sillage is quite strong at first but after about 30-60 minutes becomes very bearable and then holds up nicely in the moderate spectrum for hours.

I don’t perceive the coffee note, maybe it just integrates well with the other notes, it’s actually just a saffron-spiced tonka-oud combo. At first, it seems very dry, high-quality tonkas often have this, which I really like, and then it becomes rounder and just extremely attractive. I mean, really, wow. It is truly completely unisex and, in my perception, suitable for warm summer nights, but also for the cooler season. You should like a bit of sweetness.
You might not need to be bronzed, but also not pale. And in the sense that bronze tonka is already a statement and stands out, even if it’s not overly niche.

Somehow it also seems like there could be tobacco in it. It’s not listed, maybe it just comes from the combination of notes. If there were fewer screechy lovechildren between Montale’s Arabians Tonka and Oud Tobacco, one could place Bronze Tonka as particularly 'well done' in between.

From the start, a lot of tonka. In the
drydown, it becomes soft and resinous with subtle oud. Super nice but with some downsides regarding H+S, unfortunately.
