Amber-forward tropical summer scent
Typically I picture amber as a cold-weather scent, but this one is somehow perfect for summer. Despite the name being "Papaya Paradise Cove", it's still an amber-forward fragrance to me - the papaya is fruity and tropical, but the amber increases the warmth and makes it sparkle.
My nose picks up:
- 40% fresh papaya
- 30% amber + honeysuckle (the combination makes it sweeter and more "nectar-like")
- 20% passion flower
- 10% starfruit water
Despite not having similar notes, it somehow reminds me of a slightly warmer version of Pearberry - not the most recent formulation, but the one from the mid 2000s.
