Long lasting with Unique unisex woody scent
This bottle made me fall in love with it since the first time smell it at the shop. The first spray has strong spices notes but once it developed The strong cedarwood notes pop up and it lasted on me till evening. The note is not too masculine to wear compared to other woody perfumes. For me this bottle suite many occasions, from working to brunch on the weekend. I tried to layer it with wood sage and sea salt. Wood sage and sea salt can help to tone down the spice top note and make the scent more subtle and casual. If you love woody perfumes. Should give this bottle a chance

Rustic Bitter Woody Gin Smells Better As a Candle
I tried this scent and I have to say up front- it smells like a gin & tonic left to warm on a wooden picnic park bench next to a burnt out bonfire from the festivities of the night before. That may be good...or that may be a bad thing depending on your feelings about juniper berries, park benches and the perception of smelling like you took a "long lunch with a client" in the forest. Personally, I can't see this going well for me during the day at work and I can't say I find this seductive, soothing or even appealing enough to wear at night. This strikes me as one of the most airy, bitter masculine leaning and woody of the Jo Malone line that I have tried and I do thing it may work very well as a layering component with the, now defunct, Black Café Vetiver, 154, Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Blue Agave & Cocoa in the Fall and Winter as well as, Lime Blossom or Grapefruit in the Summer months. The sillage is low, not more than 1-2 inches radius projection off my skin and the longevity is in keeping with the Jo Malone tradition of short lived romances. Then I smelled the large 3 wick candle and I must say- it's brisk, manly and refreshing as a room scent.
