Great citrus aromatic for guys

I was standing in line to get coffee not too long ago, caught a whiff of this scent and thought "Wow, that guy next to me smells good!." Then I realized the smell was coming from ME and the Lime Mandarine & Basil sample I was testing out. Suffice to say, this strikes me as more of a masculine scent, and a great one at that. It is a fresh scent, as you would expect from a citrus aromatic, but with an unexpected depth and complexity. Guys, you should try this one out.

Divine orchard

Anyone who likes the idea of lemon trees touching the skin should hurry up to discover this fragrance, even if they might think it's just another citrus fruit on the market.

It was love at first sniff, with the super natural touch known from Jo Malone fragrances.

Lemon, orange, basil and vetiver are very natural and noticeable throughout its life. At the top it is super vibrant due to the citruses, and at the end it is more sober with the vetiver (but always bright).

Jo Malone manages to do everything with little and that's what I call chic minimalism!

It does not draw much attention, because although it lasts well on the skin, it has little projection. But being a fresh and natural perfume, we couldn't expect anything else (very English style).

Sounds like I should eat it.

I only smelled this for the first time recently. It has such a pretty opening and it seems like it might simply be a long-lasting take on the eau de cologne. The heart turns out to be fairly short-lived, but the basenotes, while quiet, are quite durable. The base hints at vetiver, patchouli and iris, having a dry, dusty feel. It seems a bit like dried citrus rind, the perfect ending to the citrus-dominant start.

Sharp and fresh, this perfume is the perfect antidote to a hot summer's day when you want fresh scent that doesn't cloy The initial hit is quite sharp but it does soften down somewhat. In truth, this is not a great favourite of mine but I would say it is a modern scent, perhaps best suited to someone sporty

acid acid acid - yum!

I'm a huge lime fragrance lover in theory as I put lime zest on everything I eat but so far this is the only lime fragrance I love (though I'm also still looking for a sweet, candy-like lime fragrance - any suggestions?)

I loved Body Fantasies Lime Basil body spray in the late 90's/early aughts which was riding the popularity of this fragrance and when it was discontinued I went looking for a more adult replacement and found its inspiration. This is it. It's sharp, bright, and a little herbal. I don't always love basil as peppery notes just aren't my thing but this basil is in such good company that it doesn't stick out. I love an acidic fragrance that isn't afraid to be punchy. This is not tropical or sweet so in today's market it's unique.

I work outdoors as a landscaper and this is the only fragrance I will wear on job sites when I do wear them. I actually don't agree that this is super short-lived. I think it's one of Jo Malone's better performers. I do have to reapply but only once or twice. This has been a summer staple for me for almost 2 decades now. I try to sample lime fragrances when I find them but so far I haven't found one like this.
