Green Flowery Soft (MUD VII)
Jo Malone has very individual scent creations. So does 'Carrot Blossom' & Fennel'. I don't know the scent of carrot blossom, although I grew up in the country and have grown a lot of vegetables myself. Carrots, or 'Goibe Ruam' as they say in our dialect, must never bloom and the beetroot doesn't taste very good.

'C B & F' starts off very fresh and green. The freshness hardly lasts a few minutes and it becomes rather soft-green. But I can't say that the green smells like fennel. After a good hour the smell of a rose peels out more and more, which also brings a slight sweetness.

The rose is actually the leading part of the fragrance, not too intense and quite natural. The rose is rounded off by a note of iris, which gently fades away the fragrance.

For me, 'C B & F' is more of a feminine fragrance that can be worn in a variety of ways in spring and autumn. The charisma is relatively weak, the durability is about five hours.

Thank you, killer bee for the sample

Carrot blossoms and fennel
Carrot Blossom & Fennel surprised me very much with his revelation: on me it is a rose in honey.
I do not like honey, but it sounds so delicious, soft, gentle and not at all harsh! So that one would best nibble it immediately.

The violets bring along a spicy powdery texture, but it certainly doesn't smell like powder from the drugstore! This powdery note sounds like soft pollen from honey flowers.

The mugwort is not bitter, but as if faded by the summer sun, spicy and sluggish, in a duet with ripe apricot flesh.

Normally I get tired of tart scents - but this one is not! All in all, it is just a slight hint of summer flowers and fruits. The remaining notes are only a background so far. Musk is also inconspicuous, shy, sometimes appears and then modestly fades into the background again.

This scent really fascinated me. For a long time, no fragrance had aroused such interest in me.
