Jo Malone's fragrances can all be layered together. But with White Jasmine & Mint, I don't dare to do that. I already find the interplay of the scent notes of this fragrance incompatible, so I can't imagine it won't be dreadful when layered.
The top note smells like illness. Mint, chamomile, it reminds me of days with stomach aches and the like. The scent is absolutely piercing, and I would have preferred to wash it off immediately.
Unfortunately, the mint from the top note also runs through the entire fragrance pyramid. The scent does become milder, but for me, the other scent notes are overshadowed by a huge pile of mint leaves. The little lily of the valley peeking out from under the mint is completely crushed. The other notes from the heart and base sound great, but I mostly smell mint. A sickly mint that, due to some note, doesn't smell fresh anymore but almost a bit rotten.
