Fruity Elegance

It started with a sample that was sent to me with another fragrance. A first spray - a fruity freshness enveloped me, played around by jasmine and delicate vanilla. Actually, I am not a fan of floral-vanilla scents, but here the sweet note seemed not intrusive, but rather lightly playful, so that the fruity blackberry was in focus. It is probably the rum that gives the fragrance an elegant depth, elevating it to a higher level for my taste. So I initially wore it mainly to weddings and more elegant clothing and fell more and more in love with it. The only thing I must criticize is the longevity - after about 4 hours, the scent is only perceptible close to the body. Sprayed on clothing, however, it wafts a fine note to my nose all day long.
I still cannot understand why this dream of elegant blackberry was taken off the market. I am all the happier now that I was able to snag a bottle and can enjoy this fragrance for some time to come.

Ah, how many bottles of Jeu d'Amour Eau de Parfum have I used up in my life, actually an unspectacular but still beautiful scent, almost skin-close. Let's test the elixir today. Blackberry takes the lead, white flowers and vanilla mix in. Nothing more and nothing less. I expected something a bit "more substantial" for the color of the bottle. You really have to like blackberry, as it lingers here quite a long time. It has something of Amo Ferragamo Eau de Parfum only without Campari and sweeter.

Intimate Love

Today I bought Jeu d'amour l'elixir blind, because it was drastically reduced, and I was already convinced by the jeu d'amour.

While the "original game" still reflects the initial butterflies, the elixir has already grown into an intimate love.

The initial excitement has given way to a deep trust - full of understanding and compassion.

This was particularly fitting today, as my husband is plagued by severe toothache, and out of sympathy, I promptly developed the same affliction.
One resonates with the other, like the strings of a violin - wonderfully described by Rilke.

So homogeneous and harmonious is the scent.
Everything is in harmony.

It has a soft base note from the blackberry and experiences light and air from jasmine and tuberose.
The atmosphere becomes cozy and warm through nearby patchouli and sweet vanilla.
The rum adds depth.

A full scent - yet without heaviness. And the sweetness also floats.

It is beautiful to hold my husband's hand - and to share a meaningful silence together.
