Not a Tresor flanker, a distinct perfume: an absolute(s) fairytale
This Tresor was not a flanker, but a distinct perfume. Sophia Grojsman wanted a collaboration wotu Dominique Ropion and ...voila: L Absolu Tresor. A stunner, an exquisite potion made only from.raw materials and absolutes, 100%. It jas been produced only few months in 2013. The price - $150 for the unique amount 50 ml was not so comfortable for the customers. The production costs were huge, the selling poor because of the price, so, in the end of 2013, few months since lauching the production has been stopped and Tresor L.Absolu discontinued forever.
It is a beautiful lerfume with the Tresor vintage DNA, but with a leather velvety hint in it and a fumé vanilla absolute, that makes this fragrance a stunner.
It is unique as smell, the bottle is also gorgeous...so...a masterpiece with a very short life unfortunately.

This is how perfume should smell! Perfect.
I have been enchanted by the classic Trèsor scent since the first time I smelled it. No, I should rather say, since the first time I wore it on my skin.
This fragrance only develops fully and in its true splendor when worn on the skin. It needs body heat and soft skin to completely unfold.
I discovered this new version one day on the internet. I found the bottle quite impressive with its black-tinted glass. Although it has the same shape as the classic Trèsor, you can tell there is something mysterious and dark inside.
It is a dark, deep, and mystical dark red, almost black rose.
No, there are many of these beautiful Damask roses.
They exude a deep, almost intoxicating scent, with a heavy, spice-laden sweetness.
The sweetness is that of a dark rose liqueur, or that of a heavy perfume oil. For me, it is by no means too sweet and not too heavy. It is not sticky like syrup, or oily but deep, powdery, dark, and fine.
All in all, the scent is simply very pleasant.
This version reminds me in its basic structure of the original Trèsor, completed with new, darker facets.

The L'Absolu de Parfum is for me the perfected version of the great classic. It is the epitome of a perfume for me. This is exactly how "my perfume" should smell.
It truly lacks nothing. The formulation is completely perfect and beautiful as it is.
But the dark, spicy rose is not the only thing that impresses me. The fragrance also includes bright, pink roses that create a play of scent impressions in the heart and top notes. A bright, lovely scent impression accompanies the Trèsor. In combination with the jasmine, they make the scent brighter, lovelier, and more erotic. Benzoin and vanilla provide the dark rosy accompanied, balsamic-vanilla base.
As a gourmand, I would not describe the scent at all. There is no risk of confusion with a sweet treat, although the aromas are very delicious.

If I had to live with only one perfume, it would be Trèsor L'Absolu de Parfum.
I hope it stays and is not taken off the market as quickly as various flankers.
Unfortunately, I do not detect any leather, and I was really looking forward to leather. But it is already complete as it is. The longevity is extremely good at 14 hours. I applied it in the evening, had the scent in my nose all night, and still perceived it until noon.
This is now my Absolute No 1.

The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
I waited a long time for it and ordered it blindly, as scents with a leather note always pique my curiosity. Unpacked with great expectation, sprayed on... And was disappointed. Piercing, typical Trésor. Pack it up, send it back? No, I won't give up that quickly...

The lady has an invitation to a candlelight dinner at a nice restaurant. She only knows the gentleman from the internet. What does she expect? What does he expect? First, play the innocent, not too revealing clothing, rose scent with a hint of peach is perfect for that.

The two take an immediate liking to each other, the conversation during dinner becomes more private. Warm spices mix with the rose, they get closer and forget the time. After dessert, the obligatory question: "Are you coming back to my place?"

She quickly convinces him to come with her. She unlocks the door, her apartment is bathed in soft light. The air carries a light scent of vanilla, mixed with a bit of patchouli, the atmosphere crackles. The rose that the gentleman gave her was left in the taxi. She goes to the kitchen to get the champagne from the fridge. When she reappears, the gentleman's breath catches. She has swapped her high-necked dress for a leather corset... What else might the evening bring?

Those who have enough patience will be surprised by the scent. Waiting it out really pays off, as the warm leather note remains well hidden for a long time.

The "little black dress" for every day
Today was a beautiful day. My nose behaved quite normally, and I had the opportunity to try "l Absolu" for the second time.
The first attempt was on a very hot day; today, at 12 degrees, it was significantly cooler.
Following the last test, I sniffed my clothing for days; I was truly longing for this scent.
All the more surprising is that it leads a nearly undiscovered shadow existence here; I can only imagine that many are deterred by the name Tresor. Well, the similarity is undeniable, and one should not have completely rejected the original (not the current chemical version).
Then, however, it can begin, because even with the second test, I can only confirm my first impression: this scent is a dream!

Immediately after spraying, a huge, magnificent Damask rose blooms on my skin. Velvety and dark with a somehow oily but not heavy, deep sweetness...trrrrreamy.
Not gourmand, not sticky, not girlish. This scent is mature, a refinement of the original; with it, I can simply be a woman, feminine, sensual, but with class, romantic, yet not playful.
It wraps around me, envelops me; it is, in the truest sense of the word, delicious. A wonderful composition. You can let yourself fall into this scent.
I notice nothing of the listed patchouli; the leather also passes me by, not a problem, I couldn't imagine it more beautifully.
Rose (but not Dr. Hauschka rose oil-too true to nature for me, more like rose liqueur!), spices for depth, vanilla finely dosed, sophisticated and "biteable" at the same time.
The sillage is enormous but not overwhelming; even in warm weather, it was not too much for me.
I perceive it as a kind of chameleon, as it adapts to all situations. With it, I can go to the office, read a book on the couch on Sundays, pick up my child from kindergarten, or play at the playground; just as well, it dresses me for a visit to the opera, indeed "my little black dress for every day".

A real discovery that quickly makes its way to my wish list; I thank Sonjoschka very much, for without her comment, I would have never tried this scent.

Hhhmmm...and now my nose sinks back contentedly into my turtleneck, a lovely evening to you all:-)

Treasure in the guise of Darth Vader...
Treasure L'Absolu had already caught my attention positively at its launch in 2013. Recently, I hadn't seen this version in the perfume shops anymore, so I wished for it for Christmas. The day before yesterday, at the Christmas brunch, it was handed to me. I opened the packaging and held the elegant bottle in my hands. My brother spontaneously said, it looks like Darth Vader :-). But all jokes aside, I can only echo the comments here: L'absolu is a richly darker version of the classic Treasure scent. Fruity notes (peaches), which dominate the base chord of the classic Treasure in conjunction with roses, play no role here. The roses in L'absolu are darker and silkier and blend excellently with the balsamic notes of benzoin and later vanilla. The fragrance also never veers into sweetness, as the spices and patchouli accompany the entire scent journey, giving the perfume a dark chord. A fragrance for special occasions, perfectly suitable for going out.

Full-bodied, fleshy, juicy, sensual, in the most seductive, elegant form. Beige trench coat, black fishnet stockings, leather pumps...

The classic Trésor may be cliché, but it has been given a new, deeper facet here. With some time passed (2013): good

A great scent, very elegant and intense. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit me, but I still like it a lot!

Darker, deeper, more serious than the original! I like it better! A treasure for the Gothic lady!
