An aromatic light rose for the summer
I'm surprised I like Idole EdT as much as I do. Upon spraying the rose overpowers for the first ten minutes. After that it blends nicely with the green tea. The bergamot is somewhere in the back, barely noticeable. As time passes, the rose slowly disappears and the green tea and bergamot start coming out more and more. Wonderful freshness that turns the rose light and airy instead of heavy and stuffy. It makes me feel both young and classy. A perfect scent for the transition of young girl into strong and feminine woman.
Personally, I've always had trouble with rose fragrances as I find them overbearing. The original Idole EdP is much too heavy on the rose for me, so ordering a decent of the EdT was quite a gamble for me. This smells a bit like Pure DKNY - Rose, except Idole EdT is an even more pleasant blend.
It is not too overpowering and quite fresh thanks to the green tea, which makes it a good choice for warm weather. It lasts surprisingly long for an EdT too, going strong for well over 6 hours. It's a far cry from the original Idole EdP and most of its flankers, but very enjoyable nonetheless. A rose fragrance for those of us who are scared of rose fragrances!
I do think it is too expensive for an EdT, but then again I live in a country where fragrances have been becoming more and more expensive. Might be found for a decent price in other countries.
